Joe, I’d love to see you do a full set-up from start to finish, for both pole and feeder. Might be better post-lockdown but it would be interesting to see how the pro’s do it.
So many anglers carry so much gear on their barrow. Simplicity is the key, only so much we can do in a session. Know the venue know your gear. Nice insight to what you carry Joe....
Good video Joe. After approx 59yrs of fishing i have thought about sorting out my Box. Having seen yours its made it a priority to get on with. Not only does it make sense but think of the reducing the actual weight of your Box. I also have a stacker set which I dont really use which can be left at home. Thanks for the tip.
I carry very little in my box too. Always think too much choice isnt always a good thing. If you know your venues theres no need to take the kitchen sink
I am probably one on the many that are overkill with rigs and a lot of what you have said makes sense and rethink time for me now!!. I am trying out the new Matrix elastic protectors with the line guide so I am experimenting with leaving rigs attached to long kits, but alas lockdown has not allowed me to find out if its a plus. Thanks for a great video Joe keep them coming mate brilliant as always mate
Using braid has a hook length would that not be stronger than the main line if you had a snap off so you only lose the hook length sounds interesting Would love some feedback if you can Cheers mate.
Hiya buddy, quick question for you, if you work for Preston!! Do you get all your tackle for free? I'm only just getting into pole fishing and I'm finding it hard to remember everything, it's not easy at all
Hi mate love your videos, you could do a £500 challenge to get all fishing equipment, like most people can't get all the best stuff, think it will be a great video 👍👍👍👍
Nah, I will judge how much I have caught on a rig and take it from there. In the summer I normally re-tie them after a match when weights are high. but in winter I will use them multiple times.
Hi Joe. I'm in the market for a new seat box. I've returned to fishing after 20+ years away from the sport! I don't do pole fishing and mainly fish natural venues using waggler and feeder methods. I don't have a barrow/trolley so I walk along the bank carrying my gear. I've been looking at the Inception, Inception 3D 150 or Inception Station? I want something light but big enough to hold my gear. I've just bought a ready made rod bag so that's cuts out a bit of room needed for reels. I would be carrying rod bag, seat box and Preston Competition double net bag. What would you recommend? Cheers.
Hi Joe, That's very enlightening to see you carry so little, when I go out unless I fish there regularly I normally have way too much with me, but when it's a new venue with so many different depths in different pegs its just not viable to carry the bare essentials

Great vid Joe, gutted though my Venta lite side tray clamps snapped on my first outing :(
Did you remove the rubber pad?
@@MatchFishingFilms no saw a video on the Preston Facebook that said to leave it in on the more profile legs like rive legs etc which is what I have
Was it super tight when you tried to close it
@@MatchFishingFilms yeah it was, gutted lol
Get in touch with work and they will send a replacement 👍
That's honest and does what it says on the tin setup. No tarty stuff or clutter

Crikey Joe...you could have given it a hose down at least. Keep up the good work fella. These vids have kept me sane over winter 👍🏻
Ha ha I don't believe in it

When you finish after a day on the pole, how do you know witch rig go's on witch winder? I get them all muddled up.
What is the difference between your box and the absolute white edition with 30mm legs apart from being carbon.

Steve Mitch Hi Joe love your vids, can you tell me which is the softest tip rod for small fish that Prestons have made Ta mate GGMU.
It's the super SL which is the purpose designed rod for that game
Good info there Joe 👏👏👍

If you don't need to carry reels in your box, then the Inception is the one as it really is incredibly light
@@MatchFishingFilms thanks Joe 👍

Where do I get the tray which sits in the top for the winders
Just look for the Preston winder trays :)
A packet of instant coffee. Is that a secret tip for flavouring pellets 😂
Might be 😅
Stay lucky Joe mate
Christ I dread to imagine what your socks and pants drawer is like 😂
That Des the Duck over your left shoulder????
keeping an eye on me
At 8.25, what feeders are they? 🤔
Top marks for the spot...
I find that lack of tulips disturbing... ☹️
Don’t you store under the seat joe ? .
No
He does, but only the prototype products which he can’t show you yet ;-)
The winder tray is part of the seat
Nah they are in the drawer ;)
Worthers and puppy’s by looks of it
