You have one of the tidiest boxes I have seen so far Jon and it's nice to see that I'm not the only person who doubles up on the essential items like scissors and disgorgers
Thanks for watching!
@@JonArthur your welcome I always enjoy your videos and I pick up some tips along the way such as the tyre marker
Thank Jon two great tips for me in this . The pencil for making winders that’s rubs off and the band in a split shot for plumbing up waggles 👍 I have been squeezing the shot onto the hook for as long as I can remember. You never stop learning. Thanks again .
Glad it helped
Great insights to a top angler's innermost little secrets, picked up lots of ideas, many thanks John
Glad you found it useful 👍🏼
Great to see someone making good use of Tupperware, as it’s usually left to clutter up a kitchen cupboard along with a disused soda stream maker from the 1980’s and a once used breville sandwich toaster…nice to know that you’re bucking the trend! Seriously though that’s pretty cool, I’ll have to try and get hold of some little Tupperware boxes for storing general bits ‘n’ bobs. Great video too. Tight lines for 2022! 👍🏼👌🏼
Many thanks EE! 👍🏼
enjoyed that Jon, i think it's good that we can see inside your tackle box, and see what you take along with you fishing, thank you ,👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for this nice little insight Jon, its very well organised. I'm sure I can implement some of your tips into my own storage. I enjoy all your videos.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Jon. Very informative and given me a better idea of how to arrange my seatbox. 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Glad it was useful
I am one of the lucky ones who has long legs so i have boot the sliding small draw and the big one. I am suprised that my deep draw has a lot of the items you have except not as tidy as yours. (note to one selves to tidy up). Never ceases to amaze me how much gear we carry. Good video Jon.
It'll soon be a mess and full of maggots and flies soon enough!
@@JonArthur Nothing new then.🤣
Glad I'm not the only one who carries about little clip lock boxes of assorted bits I never use 😅 I've got some old paste springs that still live in my box despite not using them since about 2004!!!
That's a video in itself!
Some great tips as always Cheers Jon.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm a storage freak too. I replaced all of my little tubs with 2 Matrix deep 8 compartment boxes though, they are brilliant!
I have them too, ha ha
Great video 👍🏻 I’m obsessed with storage as well.
It's an addiction! :-)
Thanks Jonny some good ideas there
Thanks for watching Jeff
Cheers Jon, some useful ideas there.
Glad you found it helpful
Jon, I have tried just about every brand and type for fluorocarbon over the last 5 years or so, and honestly the Shimano Aero Silk Shock Fluorocarbon is the best
I've found, all I use for gb feeder work(3lb 12oz/5lb 6oz).
Finer diameter than others available, tries well but retains enough stiffness to cut down on spin ups and tangles.
Thanks for sharing!
Really helpful video Jon, I’ll be pinching the rig trays idea for storage under the seat and placing an order with Tackle Tidy ! Contents wise I have the same type of things but spend an age looking for stuff 🙄 Will be interested to know which fluorocarbon you end up settling on. Thanks again for these great videos 👍🏻
Glad it was useful!
Great video Jon 👍
Cheers Bill
I especially like the tyre marker and will make some waggler plummets with shot and bands. Don’t know how you use those styl pincers though I find them too clumsy and not enough feel, I use Cresta shot pliers. Thanks for showing us 👍
I tried those exact pliers but the spring went and they also went rusty. I get far much more feel with Styl pincers, but the longer straight headed ones I use are far better than the slightly shorter ones that have a diagonal head.
@@JonArthur Garbolino do some fancy expensive alloy pliers that also look good. Do you not prefer slammo type disgorgers too? I find them loads quicker. Otherwise my box contents are largely the same just caked in dirt 😂
‘You never know when you might need it’
I think that applies to about 95% of my box 😆
Some weights you carry about there Jon. No wonder that ship sank 😆
Cheers 👍🍺🍌
😆
Here's one for you Jon. Show us how you load your barrow. Mine is always a shambles 😔
Mine's well packed but seriously overloaded at times! 🤣 Best tip for Matrix barrows is to hang the keepnet bag off the handles.
Wouldn't want to replace that lot !....not only the hassle but the cost.
Precious items gathered and collected over many years!
Taught me a right little trick those little tub of blue bands did 🤐🤫 my lips are sealed 🤣
🤐🤫 🤣
The little clear boxes are great but no one sells them separately, if you know different please tell me where thanks, love to be organised.
Serious question about those seat boxes, what is the max weight of a person they will hold before breaking.
I think they've been built and over-engineered to withstand the weight of the heaviest of anglers.
I have most of what you carry Jon with the addition of a few dead maggots, bits of hempseed, ground bait and even the odd piece of mud.Maybe if I copied you and was a bit tidier I might win a few more matches!!
It'll soon be a mess and full of maggots and flies soon enough!
Hi Jon any idea where I can get the Mark Charnell plummets please?
Try Mano Farm Angling in Evesham or search for Mark on Facebook. He has a Champion Feed logo on his profile.
Carryalls next jon etc. Please
Maybe one day, but I only tend to do a vid on something once Im really really happy with, and I'm still tweaking that part of my setup at the mo. We'll see...
I started using small nail clippers instead of scissors, it gets really close to knots and as a bonus there is less chance of me stabbing myself!😵💫
Nice one Brian. I actually don't like to clip my knots too close unless I really have to as I don't want the dreaded pigtail after one comes off! 🤣
Nice to be nosey, thanks Jon 🎣👃🏻
Always! :-)
Hi Jon. does the tyre marking crayon rub off ok?
Yep when you want it to come off you can scratch it off or rub it off easily, but its tacky enough to stay put during the session.
Where did u get the drawer trays from?
The deep insert is from Tackle Tidy if you Google it
where do you store the haribos ???
Secret Haribo drawer 🤫
next to the fredo,s haha@@JonArthur
Pretty tidy inside. Needs jet washing outside. 🤣
🤣 It was actually scrubbed clean just the other day. Some plonker had a go at me for it being dirty and compared it to Formula 1. Erm, it's fishing, winter, it's cold and wet and it's muddy everywhere. No one with a family has time to jet wash a box every weekend! I bet Lewis Hamilton has never washed a car himself ever! 🤣🤣🤣
Is that your canal seat box?
If it was a big match then yes, but my short session canal and river missions I use an F25 box, minus footplate, with the stripped down minimum of tackle.
@@JonArthur thanks Jon, really enjoy your vids keep them coming 👍
Wasted in Angling ... coming back in the next life as a compact Tupperware sales man ! Lol
Ha ha, JA the Tupperware King!
Most items should be made to float haha deffo the pellet banders
Agreed! :-)
@@JonArthur i find best are guru but sink like a brick so switch to Preston they float haha
Blimey Jon hope your box never goes in you've got more lead there than a church roof 🤣🤣🤣👍
🤣
Fishing stuff ?
No ship
John, can you link marks fb page please for plummets
Sorry no link but you can search for Mark Charnell on Facebook (he has a Champion Feed logo on his profile). He also supplies Manor Farm Angling in Evesham I believe.
Cheers John ʘ‿ʘ
I've got just as much crap i'll never use in my box too.
We all have a man cave and man drawer... and seatbox man drawer! 😆
@@JonArthur PMSL
every matchman i know carrys nearly 2 of everything toprod i think my box has more crap in it than yours , things we will never actually ever use
I carry a LOT of stuff that I perhaps don't need... but that's the hoarder in me! 😆
