- #travel to #valleyfair and ride their star attraction: #renegade . A ride that perfectly describes my crazy outlaw self. Some #viral insane laterals and airtime on this Woodie@ValleyfairMN 🪵

You can see the airtime when the camera slams down after a strong airtime moment.
I used to operate this coaster ! One of the best and most fun in the park! Great video ! I miss having to say yeehaw
I miss test riding it before we let guests into the park
That was actually me in controls that day while they were filming lmao
@MiaHanson-un8gf Well thanks for the ride Ms Mia 🎩
I’ve been on it. Definitely my favorite. I go on it every time I go there.
Of the coasters I rode at Valleyfair, this was the best one. Interesting how the nearby river seems to be flooding around and under the ride though, it definitely wasn't like that when I was there.
Because it’s in a valley
Great long ride!!
This ride looks insanely underrated! 🎢🎢
It is. It IS a bit of a rough ride, but a very fun coaster, and as you can tell, those banked turns pull a lot of Gs, so you sort of feel like you might in a fighter plane. :P
Wild Thing is also a great ride. Excalibur is also really fun but too short, and High Roller and Corkscrew are fun "medium sized rides" but less intense.
Excalibur was much more extreme originally, as there was a short hop after the initial drop before the big banking turn to the right - that was fun, but was only in the first season or two - that section of the track was known to my friends as "brain shaker hill". :P
@@chouseificationRenegade gives me a headache
Awesome Renegade Roller Coaster.
That coaster looks awsome
Should be called back breaker. This was the roughest wooden coaster I have been on in quite a while
Best ride there for sure! It doesn’t slow down until you get to the end!
👍 Yes it has to be the best in a state that's deprived of wooden coasters= 2 😲
Got to ride this beauty in 2008 😎
Nice wooden coaster lol
Haven't been there since the late 90's but st that tume they had a new roller coaster, i think called the wild thing, it was pretty nuts at the time. I think that was a steel one. It went out into some of the parking lot.
Live in New York now and always loved the “Yeeeeeee-haw!”
My friends and I recently went to Valley Fair! We tried to go on the renegade two or three different times but at at least twice it was delayed to make sure everything was safe and working properly and think there might have been an injury once 😅
Not trying to scare anyone, i know they do their best to keep it safe, just sharing my experience
Can you get a pov of the comet at the great escape?
Looks dope
My home park! The best, next to Steel Venom, for me
Best ride at valley fair great coaster indeed
Doesn't look scary but it definitely looks FAST and fun
When will the Monster POV be releasing?
I strive to make wooden coasters like this in Planet Coaster. Amazing pacing and flowing airtime, severely underrated!
Looks absolutely amazing. The closest thing I've ever ridden is The Grizzly in Kings Dominion -- but this looks much more intense and has an unrelenting layout. Thank you for holding the two cameras and filming this! :) Is the ride super-rough?
The ride is a bit violent. For better or for worse.
It has some of the roughness of a wooden coaster, but it's going so fast that it doesn't really affect you in the normal way. My legs felt a bit like jelly when I got off, but the ride didn't activate my motion sickness one bit.
The Renegade Wasnt too bad
Renegade. Just Renegade
bro sounds like muscle man during the ride lol
did you ride and film this today?
No last Saturday 🤌🏽
it's not even a question if it's Minnesota's best coaster xD The real question is if it's GCI's best coaster
Definitely not GCI's best, but probably in their top 10
It might be their best in North America but definitely not world, looking at Troy and Wodan and all the ones in China
@@openroadtravels181 yeah python in bamboo forest looks AMAZING
Y'all see that river to the right of the lift hill? That's the associate parking lot. That's 15 feet under water
I just laughed out loud 🤣 Ouch, I feel you guys 🤌🏽
cmon cedar point....how has a gci sales rep not sold cedar point a woodie???? GCI RULESSSSSSS. Love the flow of the layout and the line they take.
Gravity Group > GCI
Some portions are flooded.
It's pretty flooded above Renegade.
How smooth is it running?
It has pretty intense jackhammering but I don’t find it to bother me all that much, it’s what I’m used to at this point
Ya it's fairly rough now ,it was a lot smoother when it opened obviously. Needs to be retracted. But this coaster packs a punch for its size, surprisingly fast with lots of airtime
Sadly, yes, this is probably our best coaster.
Not sad, this roller coaster is amazing and even people who get to ride coasters everywhere come all the way from other places to ride this beauty
@@dhugg7697 I suppose that's true. The other night, a local news channel had a story on a guy who calls himself Renegade Mike and marathons the coaster almost daily. It is an excellent ride, as is Steel Venom, but there's a big drop-off after that in terms of coaster quality. I just wish we had some more headline attractions on par with other Cedar Fair parks, especially considering we are literally the "Fair" in "Cedar Fair."
if this woodie is called renegade,
theres gonna be those white girls somewhere singing "rENegAdE REnEgADE"
when the dance renegade was popular i made a joke that when i go on renegade im going to do the dance
That'd be so fun to ride while all of that flooding is taking place!
most people watching in 4k/5k do not have a 4k/5k screen to actually see it in.
They do in 4K. But we have it so when it becomes a thing it’s there. 2880p60 would be the quality I’m looking at right now.
