Technically this is already a children's book but instead of a alligator it's a rabbit, called the velveteen rabbit, a little boy has a velveteen rabbit that he has for a long time and the whole moral of the story is that if you love something enough it'll become real and it did. The boy got Scarlet fever and he had a nasty maid that was going to burn all of his toys to prevent him from getting sick again and the rabbit managed to escape and was taken away by a ferry and set in a circle with other rabbits, and the ferry told him to run and play but the rabbit was so used to being a stuffed toy for so long that it didn't realize that I'd already changed, and it's a really nice story.

yea really… i’m still waiting to get my service animal and i was so disappointed in seeing how he “brings it everywhere” like dude… stop. it’s an ESA exotic pet, it’s great that it helps you as im someone with debilitating mental conditions, but it’s not a service animal. it’s literally an alligator, in the hospital??? even then the gators living conditions aren’t good and a diet of cheetos and chicken legs is awful for that animal’s health. chicken is okay but cheetos???? seriously? as someone majoring in zoology this is… not as wholesome as people think it is. this guy really needs a smaller domestic reptile or a dog, not an alligator. keeping a gator in the right conditions is extremely difficult and this gator doesn’t look to have the right environment at all. even if it’s alive, surviving isn’t thriving.
This is so god dann cool
I had a pet river otter, he was originally wild but broke into our house and ate our hot dogs and got so used to me as a child he became pretty domesticated and loved playing around. We named him Oscar and every morning he would come out from the canal and into the house through the doggie door. I miss him so much
That's so cute
@@escoosy1763 he was my best friend ever, we would play and chase each other in the back yard
Having worked with river otters, I am absolutely astounded that otter did not eat your face. They can be incredibly aggressive for seemingly no reason. You got lucky af 😅
thats hilarious and adorable lmao
@bri7198 honestly growing up I learned alot more about them and I think he may of been domestic before hand, seeing how it was also flordia, I'm not surprised
Guapo from farcry 6 in real life lol
The sane version of Florida man, and his doggo.
This was gold man. Thank you for sharing Charlie.
Look, Florida may do it to me but that’s adorable
As a reptile breeder in Tampa, I adore this story.
Many people sAy these animals reptiles can’t sense feelings. How do u feel about that knowing you breed them? What’s your opinion?
I know a reptile from Tampa and he would absolutely love this story
@@icantgetdubs2433personally just from having many turtles and lizards myself as a pet owner, I feel like they’re inclined to learn the hand that is feeding them but at the same time reptiles are opportunistic and will bite you even if you have handled them many times in the past if they’re given a chance (stray pinky or thumb sticking out is always too tempting for them lol)
@@icantgetdubs2433I personally can't attest to "feelings" but I can say that 3 of my 4 monitors seek out my company when they're out of their enclosures, 2 of them very much enjoy being rubbed, scratched and carried around. So I do not find it difficult to imagine having a trusting aligator. Many reptiles that are hand raised and socialized often will behave in a similar manner. It all boils down to trust on the alligators part, which can take years sometimes. This gentleman has obviously done that. Kudos to him.
Have you ever personally met Carol Baskin?
that is the happiest gator i have ever seen. those two are soulmates, im glad they found each other.
Lolz
That gator is in a horrible, I'd go far as to say abusive, situation. This is not it's habitat remotely. It's eating CHEETOS. How can you think that's happy?
@@kellevichyell you know how dogs are happy right? Is a HOUSE it's natural habitat? And if you think that dogs should go back to the wild, explain why.
8:29 omggg the big smiling guy 😭
“And apparently, they can run up to 20MPH on land.”
The info on the screen: Alligators / Speed: 20MPH Maximum, in the water.
We demand justice for wally
I used to have a giant stuffed alligator that I named Wally, easily bigger than me at 6 years old. I lost him during a move, and i’ve been looking for this stuffie (or one similar) since.
Now I know that my stuffed Wally ended up turning into a real actual alligator and decided to adopt a human, and is living his best life. Crazy to think about.
This would make a fabulous children's book. 😊
Wholesome ❤
Oh wow how did you take down an alligator at 6 years old? That's very impressive you managed to stuff one too at such a young age.
@@charlethemagne5466 bhahaha i guess you could say i’m the lost daughter of Steve Irwin. Bindi was a “big sister” to me when i was young too, i loved her show
6:47 im not a florida man. alligators are scary
They can run in bursts of 20mph but only for like a couple seconds
1:41 Hold that pose. I'm About To Arrive!!!
I bet that is gonna become a profile picture copy-pasta lmao
every floridian is born with a twin alligator amongst the bayou. When they come in contact with their alligator doppelganger theyll fusion dance into the most powerful being florida has ever witnessed
I do have a gator. I also had four baby gators but just gave them away today. After a hurricane I found a gator in my pond. I just left it, and the chicken man comes by three times a week and feed it.
This comment made my day. The "chicken man" 😂😂
@@orlandowright2323 LoL, that's what I call him. He works at a chicken house and when chickens die if nothing is wrong with them he brings em by. His boss name barbwire. I'm not even joking.
@@rabidpepe Thanks for clarifying, when I read your comment I envisioned the giant chicken from Family Guy. Thanks for the laugh.
@@orlandowright2323 Well, I guess I could ask him if they have giant chickens but, he doesn't smell pleasant after being in the chicken house all day. I try to keep some distance. It's in the 90s and it STINKS!
It says 20mph in water not land
The update to this story is sad.
Yeah...
7:12 I was so depressed, i did not.

Obviosly the alligator is happy cuz his owner probly bought him a toothbrush for all them teeth....
It so sweet that even the perfect predator can bond with a person
It can't because alligator can't bond
❗️Did you hear, Wally was stolen from Joie in Georgia a few weeks ago! 😢😢😢
He said "20mph on land" but the pic at 0:50 says "in the water"
Awe animal abuse

Man I’d love some more wholesome stories narrated by Charlie. I was down bad this week and that really made my day. Charlie should do a segment of happy cute wholesome stories haha

Instead of looking to our Creator you continue to look within ourselves to fill the holes and voids that we need to make our hearts whole.
That's not wholesome that's weird!!

@Trent Hamsley Lmao who tf even is Technoblade?
@Trent Hamsley no one really cares dude. do a better job supporting yourself and stop trying to get viewers from others, fairly certain its common etiquette to not do that even on RUclips.....
