Great way to show the various voicings for this fun strumming version. I didn't care too much for the open strings ringing out when you were up high on the 4th and 5th strings, but I can just tighten my strum to avoid that. I LOVED the climbing chord voicings on the 1, 2, 3 strings--not often done in campfire versions, but totally fun. Thanks for the vid!

Another good choice my friend. I’ve not heard any Doors for ages. On a side note though I was looking for Green Days Good Riddance and was surprised you’ve not done a video for that. I’m actually struggling with the picking pattern!! Hoping you can help by using your great instructional prowess to guide me on my way!! Oh and 21 guns? No harm in asking lol.

Hey Ryan, for the Am => D you can do the same thing that you did for the Em on the 3rd and 5th fret, but just on the next strings down... and you can and go up instead of down at the end of the riff for an added effect. To my ear, it sounds pretty cool. Give it try. There will be cake afterwards. 🍰🎂

So the original song is just your bog standard E A D progression filled with fancy frills to the point where you cant even hear the normal EAD progression? As soon as you added the A i started waiting for the D since that was the logical next choice and sure as heck it came. On a sad note Keith Levene from The Clash passed away today.
