- That's right, now YOU can swoon your campfire attendees by jamming out No One Knows by Queens Of The Stone Age without tuning your guitar down an unholy amount. This one turned out even better than I had expected, and I hope it leads to many good times to come. Stay safe everyone, there are campfires around the corner.

Salute to the Wood Veteran. Making the world a better place.
I never noticed the common root in salute and salutations until just now!
Thanks for the capo suggestion with this. It sure saved me with this song. I remember seeing the tuning on it years ago and thought "nah, forget it". Your video was a great help. Thanks.

Jammy Campfires. Love em.
how about Cammy Jampfires?
I honestly think this might be the greatest thing you have ever done. I have no chance of playing it but I love it!!!!
don't say I can't. Say I presently struggle with, and if you keep that mindsight over the course of time people whose dream it was to do one, can turn into twenty and more. (Tony Horton on pullups)
Oh yeah, thanks James :)
@@RyanLendt great advice! I have been working on your Just Breathe tutorial for months. Got the picking pattern down early on but nowhere near speed and have struggled with Vedder’s freaky little finger cheat but I am just about there and up to track speed now. Lots of practise has been necessary. Some rank bad rhythms and chord fails but I’m really chuffed to have got this far. Never thought I’d get there when I started. Thank you for the tutorial for starters but equally, as well as the guitar part, it helped me learn a bit of perseverance. I am now working on Jolene (Dolly). Similar in lots of ways, not tricky chords but the speed of the picking is requiring practise and patience. Getting there...
Makes learning and remembering songs so easy, thanks
:)
Love this!🙌🙌
thanks Neil :)
Awesome 👍
:)
I recorded using your 5.55 version..did it on a 6 string banjo and put it on QOTSA fans page on facebook..finished off with the opening duelling banjos riff :D
haha good thinking PM :)
When played on acoustic like this it sound so "Mariachi", very cool...
haha yes indeed
Been MIA. I'm back for this one. God I miss playing recently. Great song to come back.
great to have you back Mark :)
@@RyanLendt thanks brother. My busy took off. Had to hire 5 new employees. But last few days I got to go back and watch some of your videos and learn them.
Fantastic tutorial sir!

Nailed it!

Hey Ryan, Great video as always! Would you consider doing a couple more Queens of The Stone Age tutorials?
funny enough I just did one. you'll see it in about ten minutes :)
@@RyanLendt lol. Great minds think alike!!! Your time and efforts are appreciated more than you know. Thank you
One of my favorite songs! Thank you Ryan! Is I Sat by the Ocean a consideration!
definitely!
That's some real beautiful woodworking :)
I can't wait to reveal the nefarious purpose...
Already in Qotsa Songs since some weeks, this is a great addition! Some songs are still really not good played by me, mostly because it's fast and I cannot accordingly play in Rythm. Still after many MANY tries, I get it right
cheers to you Sime! it is my pleasure.
Oh Ryan you did it again! LOL. I considered myself a campfire disciple
campfire away AAGA!
Awesome as always, this is so fun to play! and you never fail to crack me up laughing... The drunken Kazooster this time haha
kazooster is even funnier than kazooist! I'm gonna use that next time :)
@@RyanLendt Lookinf forward to it. Patent pending
This one looks like a lotta fun.
Born 12/25/73
Anyway I could a birthday wish of Sunburn by Fuel? It's nowhere on the internet

Hilarious commentary as always
thank you AC :)
Excellent video i hope you can do a collective soul’s song cheers
cheers EAVG
YES. Thank you. I'm so glad I finally wrapped my head around the fretboard and the L shape. Tried to play this before but gave up. This seems easier, less barres 😬
I'm happy you're happy Helen :)
@@RyanLendt haha. I'm glad that you're happy that I'm happy..
Great tutorial teacher :D
thanks Russ :)
Nice man…. 👍
thanks man
Who doesn’t have a drunken Kazooist at their campfire?
probably just that headless guy
Well Wednesday night just got better
:)
I've been waiting for this one! I think this will be the 15th song that you've taught me.
Always easy to follow and fun.
Now I'm going to be hunting for my capo every day 🙄
Terima kasih Paman. Tutorial ini sangat membantu.
senang mendengarnya kawan
Nice lesson! I think it would be cool if someday you made a video about how to play Pearl Jam’s rendition of Timeless Melody by The La’s
great request NAT thanks :)
The one I was waiting for but was far too polite to ask...
:) ask away buddy, sticks and stones may break my bones but a whole bunch of comments is, well, something I encounter every day :)
@@RyanLendt ok ryan i have a list here.. would you prefer alphabetically or chronologically...🤣😉
Can you do an electric guitar lesson for No One Knows and use your SG special from Gibson and Les Paul guitar, please?
Great job, Ryan! Can’t wait to try it out! By the way, have you ever seen Seth Avett’s version of this?? He finger picks the bastard! Check it out! Kills it
thanks JJ! that video might hurt my teeth, I'm allergic to fingerpicking :)
@@RyanLendt haha! I’m telling you, it’s a fantastic arrangement, very different. Check it! Lol 🤘🏼
This is an older video but do you think you can explain how you do that slide after the e minor
love your videos! do you have this in tab format?
You can actually play this song with the proper bar chord on the 7th fret without a capo in E standard, same as C standard (original version) and it actually sounds much more legit
right but then you have to sing it two whole steps higher
@@RyanLendt Not really, try singing it in the same pitch as C standard, but play it in the E standard I mentioned... Sounds fine.
Ryan have you attempted to figure out the blwang at 38 seconds? For me it's the highlight of the whole song! Please don't make me beg 😁
saving that for that real version :)
Could you do Problems and bigger ones by Harvey Danger
thanks for the idea Kage :)
I love the sound of your Taylor guitar! What model is it?
410ce
At the end of your videos you should play the song in full, would be super helpful 😁
Great idea in premise - in practice though it would cut my volume by at least half. by the end of this one my eyes were falling out of my eye sockets, I would have have had to wait until the next day to finish this video.
Hey ryan can you do late for the sky by jackson browne?. Please
thanks for the idea adler :)
@@RyanLendt thx shifu
Villains of circumstance pleasee
thanks for the idea GF
Hey Ryan me again... could you do a lesson on “Pendulous skin” by Mastodon! All the tabs are confusing or wrong so this would be epic!!!
only if you get yourself some ointment ;)
I swear!!!!
I’ve changed accounts it’s me in non anus form
What capo are you using? I love the design!
thalia!

Frogs by alice in chains please (unplungged)
lovely idea YM
I was gonna try to learn this, but.... F*CK it. 😁
Hey Ryan, aren't you scared some people are going to use the powers you're teaching us for evil?
"if only he had used his powers for good, instead of evil" - Maxwell Smart
Reckon he should be....
Ryan..... .. Are you that drunken kazooist?
...yes
Thumbs up if your a drunken kazooist!
:)
