I can see a limited use with the wide surface coverage. Bristles look a bit hard and could scratch plastic surfaces like a glossy keyboard. They could have used a latch akin to their standard 18v batteries to make it easier to release the compartment. Might be handy for collecting my eraser shavings on the desk. But I was also looking for something small that could be reversed and used as a substitute for compressed air dusters. Other companies make them, I was hoping Ryobi did. I love my other Ryobi tools though, so much variety.
These lithium batteries are good quality, too. I have a carver and rotary tool and they are interchangeable. I have some other Ryobi vacs, but am considering this one because of it's small size. Thanks for your demo.
@@Ryobifanatics lol, to late. I couldn't wait. It excells at light materials. Hair, saw dust, light crumbs. It actually cleans my mats pretty fair. But cannot reach into the deeper crevices on the floor mat. So, might have failed where I want to use it, but it's great for other task and I'm happy with it.
Thanks for the demonstration but I was hoping for an actual review of the product. Hard to see how great it did with the sawdust on that cutting mat. Actually telling us your own thoughts on the product would have been helpful. I have a coffee bar at my house and was thinking of getting it to clean up coffee grounds. Not sure if this thing will do the job or not.
I recently used my mattress inflator to blow dust out of my PC. Worked just as well as compressed air (but was obviously louder). If anything, it worked better as the tube can reach more places than a can. My inflator is the P747, but that's hard to find now.
Can’t wait to get mine. Supposed to be tomorrow. Woohoo! by your demo it appears it works and works well. It’s not just gimmicky. Sweeeeet!
just quit smoking

I'm pretty sure everyone just owns the cutter to open other Ryobi packages at this point.
Couldn't bring myself to buy it yet just for this niche purpose, although it is cool! But scissors work lol
I would like one for cleaning the floor in my truck, however I don't know if it's powerful enough to pick up small pebbles that get tracked in?
I’m afraid you would be disappointed asking that much out of this unit unfortunately

Nice man!! Mine is on its way
Wait... Ryobi has an ashtray??? Need to get the link for that pls!

What is the name of the tool that you used to open the package? Thanks for the review!
I think it's the "RYOBI USB Lithium Power Cutter"
Great stuff there. I wonder if the crevice tool works well on a keyboard. Cans of compressed air can cost a lot over time.
If you really need cordless and Ryobi they make a hand-held 18V blower that should work for keyboards, item #P755.

Where did you get your Ryobi desktop mat? our local store has never heard of them.
Check direct tools outlet
They are on Home Depot website two different sizes available
Thank for the review! Man, can't find the spec anywhere. Is the charging cable micro usb or usb-c? Thanks.
USB C
This charger is usb-a to usb-c
I don’t think there’s a multi cutter better than the SKIL 12v one, I have it and it’s a beast.
if it had a penis attachment I would buy it other than that dust buster still owns the market going on 45 years now
The cutter is much more useful!
I hate watching these Tool reviews.. I usually end up with said tool :)
I can totally relate
Thanks for the review. Doesn't seem to pick up stuff that great. It will definitely struggle on a keyboard.
knives are so overrated... yeah?
"Promo sm" 😏
Kitchen knife will serve just as well, it can even cut chicken bones.
