Another option could be to draw the glue flaf together with the first side and then do a circular pattern Just a thought, it would be a wee bit daster. Kind regards Hans
Hi, Nice project! >> You can [more easily] make boxes like this in F360 by using the 'sheet metal' tools. It's very quick to create a box // multi-shape box and it does all the fold-lines, cutlines notches etc. for you. I can highly recommend it! >>Then using the manufacture part of F360 set up your laser-settings. >> Next let F360 do it's magic and create the g-code >> Last... cut on your laser... Enjoy!
Great video Vlad. I don't have access to a laser cutter, but it's still interesting. I'm wondering why you didn't use the Sheet Metal workspace for the box?
I prefer to do all my laser designs in Fusion, but I still have to take them to Inkscape to change the line colors to for different actions (power/speed, raster/vector). It’d be great if there was a way to change line colors in Fusion.
Thanks so much. I needed a exactly this workflow from Fusion 360 to Retina Engrave.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome! Thanks for making this vid. Lots of great tips and approaches!
Thanks and you're welcome!

Thanks! Yes, will try a similar project using the sheet metal tool.
Any chance you can do a laser cut tutorial for a simple wood box with joints? Start to finish with kerf, etc?
Cool, I'll add that to the list.
Happy New Year
Happy New Year Lee!

Thanks gms! Happy to share.

Thanks Spike. I plan to do more with Sheet Metal but found this design simple enough to just create a sketch and export it to the laser.
Extra thanks for the Origin addon.

I agree Mack the Maker! I would love the ability to go straight from Fusion 360 to laser. Hopefully in a future update.
Hi,
Can you show us how to use the Fusion360 Laser Cutting feature?
Thanks
Yes, will do in a future video.
