  • In this video, I'll show you how to make a simple wine caddy or wine gift box using either a CO2 or Diode laser, along with a bit of 3mm (1/8") plywood. This a great project for a first-time maker, and in the end, you will get a functional product that will be a conversation piece at any event when wine is required.

I have others that are much more detailed as well. I tend not to use them because they take much longer to cut out. Sometimes simple is best😀

Awesome Steve. Thanks. This gave me an idea of adding two small slots near the top of each side. These could be used to tie a ribbon through and over the top which would help hold the top and add some flare with a bow on top!

Cool design. The lid and the position of the holes will make the inside dimensions smaller so be sure not to make the box too exact otherwise you wont be able to fit the bottle in.

It’s very easy to adjust the dimensions for anything you need. You can also move the hinge pins where it suits.
