Very frustrating when rattle cans spit/drip and mess things up. The 2k lacquer really does give great results, the car is looking 100% better. I've been trying to decide whether to fork out on a respray for my project car, but you've swayed me more towards giving it a go myself. I like a challenge and I'm not keen on the thought of handing over £3-5k for a respray!!
Well done you've turned a less than average car into a very presentable little car with lots of life left in it, that will serve you well for a good while. Is there any news on the Audi and its fuel system yet or is it still a work in progress?
Great job. I need to do the boot of my son's car and you have seriously encouraged me. I have seen 2k lacquer spray cans. Are they different to the ones you used? Cheers Alistair
It's a Hurricane 2156 1.5Hp It's 25 years old, very small but can keep up with my low pressure gun. Over the years I've re-sprayed 2 Minis and 3 Escorts with it panel by panel.

That's the idea with a project car, doing as much as you can yourself. Good luck!
I’m keen to see the primastar
Coming soon!
What a job well done it has inspired me to tackle mine now, I used to work in a bodyshop many years ago and that's well up there...
You'll do a good job 👍
Great job, I admire your patience mate.

Thanks. It sort of is and Isn't!! 😄
Very impressive!
Very nicely done
Really well done. Did any flies get involved in the process? 😅 The white rings on the doors need to go imho.
Yes the odd one flew in and was picked out! 😄The rings I didn't like to begin with but have grown on me.

Thanks. The Audi is heading off next week to a guy who specialises in them not too far away - Keep watching!

Yes they are and look pretty good. I only learned of them recently and will hive one a go on the front of my recently purchased Nissan Primastar
Could you let us know what compressor you have Ian please
