Definite add UV protection back or you'll be at square 1 in year or so. I recommend 404 spray and just reapply every time you service the car. It's also possible to not go as high with the grit and have the roof sprayed with a lacquer which clears it right up.
Are you on the UK? I plan to add UV filtered Paint Protection Film and will make a new video. It's reversible so I can go to plan B which is ceramic graphine coat and buff.

Excellent video showing how to do this properly. The clarity of the polycarbonate roof is amazing at the end. I’m now slightly embarrassed at my half hearted attempt at the same but I now know for next time! 👍
