    "The Unspoken Bond"
Some things are better left unsaid. A comfortable silence whispered over the unspoken promise exchanged when your eyes first met. Together you share a grueling conviction. He rewards your dedication with a persistent plea for your companionship. If only he knew the feeling was mutual. On that dark, crisp morning you embark to fulfill his inherent purpose. Four earnest eyes scan the horizon with a concealed intensity when that Lone Duck interrupts the desolate sky. The crack of your gun unleashes a frantic hunger to retrieve his fallen prize. He returns, fully saturated and satisfied, with the fragrance of gunpowder generously lingering. Together you celebrate a promise kept.
Your binding faith is one that most can’t comprehend. They neglect the depth of the instinctive understanding you have for each other. Like the exuberant validation you shared in the field with that first Lone Duck. It’s feelings like this that remind you they’re reserved for a select few. There’s no need to fill them with empty words. Some things are better left unsaid.

Really really wish I had seen this when my EB was a puppy. She also walked around puddles as a puppy. I think this would've helped me teach her

hope there is more coming soon with the retriever pup. im following along. Our chocolate is now 5 months old, and we have the intro to water behind us. He loves the water. Took a few trips to the lake, but no turning back now. Cant keep him out now...LOL> I ordered the e collar to begin collar conditioning in about a month or so. Trying to get a family and occasional gun dog retreiver out of our newest family member.

have you ever encountered a dog that wants to shake the moment their torso is out of the water and they drop the dummy/bumper before picking it up and coming back to you?

yes, a whole lot. properly force fetching the dog helps correct this issue before it becomes a habit. I also don't get worked up about this like other people, honestly. as long as the dog doesn't drop the bird and they bring it to heel nicely, i'm happy.

Hi Bob, I have one alligator free pond to train in in Charleston. Which of your video series do you recommend for no cheating and lining across water? The pond I work in is a big rectangle. I have three sides and two corners I can work with. Thanks!

Awesome video bro! Hopefully my GSP puppy can keep up with his little nub of a tail propelling him. What would you do in sub zero temps? He just hit 13 weeks and I’m figuring out if I need to drive south to Arizona from Yellowstone to get him in the water. He has a ridiculous pray drive and I know he’d fetch the bird/bumper, I’m just not sure frozen rivers and ponds will work 😂
