  • Golf Swing made simple with these easy golf swing moves and thoughts. The golf swing can be too complicated if we over think and think about positions and golf swing technique.
    If you want more accuracy, ball striking consistency and even an increase of distances then you want to learn a golf swing that you can rely on and one that does not require dozens of swing thoughts because if you are thinking about positions, rotating, hinging, pivoting and so forth, you chances of actually executing a good shot is beyond realistic.
    So we must keep the swing thoughts, (if any at all are required) to a bare minimum and this simple golf swing lesson will do just that.
    This really is the golf swing made simple.

    ABOUT ALEX AND THE ART OF SIMPLE GOLF
    -----------------------
    Golf wins in the complication department. No other sport boasts the amount of gadgets, swing fixes, variations of balls, clubs, tees, courses, not to mention weather!, however, it is not as difficult as you have been led to believe.
    Or at the very least as complicated and frustrating as the golf industry has you made you you think.
    The Art of Simple Golf was born when confusion overruled the joy of golf.

      Hello Alex. Thanks for the advice. After watching the video I keep thinking about adding another mental help to your wonderful drill. Personally I am able to perform a very good swing WITHOUT A BALL. In that swing I have plenty of time to think all those academic thoughts you were talking about. As soon as I face the ball in the stance, I already know I will not repeat that same swing. Then the question is: What if I swing arms/body without a club many times, afterwards I imagine myself having an imaginary club considering your advice of toss, catch and throw. And in a third step I'd add a club to my swing? That feeling would jelp to learn the club is just an accessory of the swing.... Perhaps that will kill the instinct of hitting at the ball, instead of swinging the club. Thanks and Congrats for your lessons. Alex Bottelli.

      @@alejandrobottelli8985 I do like that that process ! The benefit of a club though is that the weight of it can really assist the flow feel. But try it and see how you go! Remember it’s always about the swing responding to the target. Keep at it!

    This literally just changed my ball striking. I have the tendency to think about to much while swinging and just doing this has made a drastic improvement.

    I use your instruction every time I play . My problem is I have arthritis in my hands and fingers and sometimes lose my grip pressure . Any suggestions as to how and to what fingers I should use to tighten my grip ? Thank you !

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf
      @TheArtofSimpleGolf  2 года назад

      Well I’m delighted to know that! For the grip, it’s a shame it’s bothering you. But one suggestion is to try being A little firmer with wrists. Dont try to actively hinge.
      You can also test some thicker grips! That helps a lot

    Sounds like me and my golf swing. awesome video as I struggle with too many swing thoughts thus robbing me of consistency and results in being very frustrated and discouraged. Ill try on the range asap! Thanks

    Oh wow! Do I like this! As someone who can stand over the ball with 15 swing thoughts and not use any of them in the actual swing (no surprise there) this feels like giving myself “freedom”. Superb!

    I have bad paralysis by analysis and I get stuck at the top then rush the downswing.
    Do you pause at the top to catch? I switched to a wider take away which gives me greater consistency but has greatly reduced my distance.

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf
      @TheArtofSimpleGolf  3 года назад

      A pause can help and we do have a video on that... but the collect feel is very much and constant move and transition. We want to be moving down and transitioning still as we are going back.

    I can name that tune in two notes. Toss and throw. I never feel the catch or transition.
