I would cry about the craftsmanship you have. You have pronounced don quijote perfectly by the way.

"If you like it" - what? This is off-the-scale-fabulous!!!! What stunning skills and workmanship you gift into our nascent and/or developing book-binding and box-making lives. I am on the hunt for steel bars for the same reason you love your golden weights. They are beautiful to see and observe in the processes when they are needed. Thank you very much.

Ido, thanks so much for a couple of brilliant techniques, the needle positioning trick, a very good idea, just got to find some suitable fine needles with a handle here in the uk, but I particularly like how you put that small cut in when turning in the bookcloth on the boards, I like so many have just been pushing the small overlap triangle forward , not bad and I get really good results , but your method is so much better , an even sharper result. Many thanks for the great ideas !

Kudos on pronouncing Cervantes' name _almost_ perfectly. I know several university profesor dudes who claim to be "experts" on his work, yet mangle his name by pronouncing it as if it were written in modern English. You are a whole level above those.

Hi, they are made of Brass, I think the 2 by 2 cm I use the most.
I would recommend 20 or 25 cm length for starters.
Try to find leftovers in a metal shop
      Hope that helps
