    Thank you for taking the time to show us how to do this. I appreciate the extra steps taken to do it right rather than simply "good".

    Good video. My back and legs won’t let me bend or squat for any length of time to do all that tarping anymore. But I used to love flat bedding green lumber and just strapping it.

    For load checks do you have to untarp everytime to tighten the chains if they get loose.
    I have one of these loads tomorrow and have never done one. Kinda of scared honestly 😧

    Axel is there any way to request you as my trainer. TMC accepted my application and is setting up my orientation date probably the week after I graduate my CDL school. So the second week of December

    I’ve never ran steel just
    Slinky Coils, so why did you use 4x4s in the center lengthwise under the chains? Great job bro! 🤜💥🤛

      It differs the tension placed on the plates. Rather than all tension being on just the sides potentially bowing something out it creates a third point of contact.

    • @jacobjones5392

      In training right now, its to drain the water to the sides, similar to the sloped roof on your house

    Why do you use straps instead of throwing 2 more chains?

    • @truckeraxelmunoz4939
      @truckeraxelmunoz4939  3 года назад +2

      Because when I do a load check if I can just keep tightening them

  • @mariusmarcu1722

    Still plait edge looks like is sharp end need still corner protection for chain and where is cross the chain need between chains some protection..
