In the used market, a 4-year old one typically goes for RM30k... which certainly grabbed my attention! But whether or not that's enough to make me overlook the scooter transmission & a name that sounds like FLATULENCE remains to be seen.
Price wise, no doubt its a bargain. But many are still skeptical of the long term durability of this car. Most will generally go the "safe" route and get the mainstream models. Haha.
Benjamin Soo that's very true. Although I learned that this one uses a drivetrain from Renault's alliance with Nissan, so hopefully in this instance it will prevail in terms of longevity, since Nissan's never die 😁
@@anassyahrom8472 I'm a Fluence user for almost 3 years now, so far it's not a big problem. FYI, the engine in the Fluence is the same engine in the Teana 2.0 & the X-Trail, so you shouldn't have a problem in terms of parts. @Chris Wee - the quirks in the car are all because the Frenchies malas want to convert LHD to RHD properly. Fusebox in the glovebox taking up space, engine start stop button located close to the passenger side (which make sense in LHD markets since the button is within easy reach of the driver's right hand) & front hood release on the passenger side so if I want to pop the hood, I have to walk to the passengers side. Not just limited to Renault too, since Peugeot also have the same issues!

I own a 2017 Fluence and so far no reliability issues whatsoever, and I knew few other owners who are happy with their Fluence.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really like this unique car but afraid of the durability and the maintenance
