I am Fluence Dynamique owner for 2 years, quite neutral for me between comfort and driving experience, service center not as bad that I heard from others.
Your coverage of cars is really impressive. It is really hard to find any good videos for the Renault Fluence. I just bought one from 2011. It's very similar.
I'll be filming the Renault Captur and Nissan X-trail Aero Edition soon. Let me know if you guys want to know anything about those cars! #renaultcaptur #nissanxtrail
I love french car! As much as i love Louis Vuitton, Hermes! I'm positively going to get the car soon, As at Aug 2023, The 2016 facelifted model sells around 15k and above! The 90% off from the MRSP is good buy! You literally get everything better than buying a new honda city or vios!
Hi bro, your review was really useful. Thanks for the review. I agree where the car is not much on roads. Would you recommend if someone would like to buy and try with the current 5 Fluence package ? Btw I am planning to but one.
+Hariharen Thiagaraja Hi! Definitely not bad with the 5inFluence package. But make some research on after sales service first, I'm not sure how it is as I have never own a renault, nowadays I will research after sales service on forums and facebook car owner groups to get an idea because I am having bad experience with Peugeot's after sales, I myself didn't think of researching that last time. I think there are one or two alternatives if you are looking around for a car in this price range.
Hi Louis, what are your thoughts about the NVH of this car compared to the Nissan Sylphy facelift in Malaysia? I'm planning to get 2nd hand though Thank you.
Hii, i think the NVH in the Fluence is better. It is after all an European built car. Built quality is also nicer although there are a lot of hard plastics but the built quality is good. If 2nd hand i suggest you take it out for test drive and see if you hear any weird noises. The mileage on this media car i drove is considered high to me but i didnt hear a single rattling noise so that's where i concluded it has good built quality.
Thanks for the advice. I just test drive today...yes the NVH is good, very quiet ride and just some whining sound during acceleration. However I find the leather seats too stiff. Surprisingly the back seats are not lengthy for a car at this segment, because it touches my knee with the front seat at my driving position (I'm 177cm tall though)
hey, do you still recommend this car in 2022? i found plenty of them around 20k with less than 100k mileage. Just wondering how the jatco transmission will hold up over time. Thanks
Hi! I wouldn't recommend this car because i find it extremely not fuel efficient for a normal car, especially if your right leg is heavy footed (yes there are cars that are fuel efficient even if you're heavy footed). But reliability wise this car is pretty reliable, it's essentially a nissan sylphy by heart but of course double check if engine and gearbox has had regular scheduled maintenance.
@@LouisSiah extremely? Is it really that bad? Is it because the car is much heavier than the corolla n civic but with underpowered engine of the sylphy? I’m keen on it since no other manufacturer in the same segment offer that kind of price for a 2014 year car.
+George Smith ah didnt realise that. You're not the first to ask me to feature it, maybe I should? That's a personal gem, 6years car with less than 20k mileage. Hah
This brand is not famous in Malaysia as previous owners had bad experience,French cars are known to have lots of issues but thats the past where people can't forget, same story as VW but their cars are now improved.Well maybe it's true what they say, once it's bad no more going back to the brand.
+Clarence Choe what you said is very true about the 'once bad no more going back', I drive a peugeot, the car and mostly because of its after sales service here is making me think twice in getting a peugeot in the future.
Haha....My family brought the facelifted Eantra MD then only Renault had advertised that the Fluence has discount for RM79800 last year lol.... I'm impressed the interior and the comfort too.. Btw
Louis Siah ya it's now 17000km and haven't faced any issue yet. Just the fuel consumption not that impressive for 1.6 but it's sufficient enough for daily use.
A turbo model is available in European markets, which gives about 40bhp more over the standard 2 litre Nissan engine. It would be fun, but my 2 litre version goes fast enough!
sundranathan Gopinathan ahh sorry for the late reply. I personally think it is suitable, it's spacious and practical and on a maintenance point of view it is quite a good as well considering the fact your scheduled maintenance are covered for 5years at least. Fuel consumption is very subjective but I would say if you're heavy footed then this car may not be that well on fuel, only good if you're light footed because it's a cvt. There are other cars that are good on fuel consumption including local cars. So it depends on how you look at it.
Simple, the manufacturer is just lazy. Lazy in term of left-hand to right-hand conversion. Look at the placement of hand-brake, push start button, fuse box (which limits the usage of the glove box). Just my opinion. Peace.
+Edwin Au Yong I think it's because of the features you get in it. And the driving experience may not be something to shout about cause I've driven it. Did you ask what year are the cars on this offer? And do they come with any free service?
Louis Siah its 2015 stock. Not sure bout warranty thou. The feature I think more or less same as other D segment. The drive nt sure. Never driven 1 before. Maybe its really due to his driving experience.. Price after discount is around 99k which seems to b a good deal.
+Edwin Au Yong yea when my brother told me about this offer I also think it's quite worth while as a new d segment car, but that's only if you really dont mind the resale value when you finally sell it since the car is technically almost 3 years behind. And the sad fact is a lot of people care about the manufactured year of the car rather than the condition. And if you really don't mind the resale value, and if there's still 5 years warranty then I think it's a good choice for a d segment. plus it's quite spacious and practical. Have to really consider because for that price you can get a new ioniq at least.
Like your passion toward cars. Good job and keep it up. Success is just ahead. Cheers.
+libralcl Thank you very much for your kind words! they're encouraging and uplifting. Thanks for watching. Cheers

Easy to get wear n tear part?
This car is not suitable for doing grab?
I won't recommend cause not very fuel efficient.

Spacious and more comfortable as well.

I driven it and overall the renault fluence was really good but I was wondering to have a turbocharge engine like civic

Even better if it comes with a diesel engine imo. I believe singapore has it!
The Fluence was not offered in Australia with the diesel option. The Latitude was though, or the V6 petrol.
howz the fuel consumption, like one way Penang to KL?
sundranathan Gopinathan Hi! From owner feedback, it is possible to get 7.8l/100km on highway long distance but have to be light-footed.
Noted ,is it a good idea to use this car for Uber, cause petrol consumption really matters. How about petrol consumptions in city drive?

Rm90k for a c segment is a steal! But is it worth it?
The things that is a put off for me is the fuel consumption and it's a cvt. So yea..
What is the fuel consumption like?

I own the 1.6 L petrol CVT
Fuel consumption is 14- 15 km/l on the high way at speed of 120 km/HR and around 12 km/l city driving.

Where is the car now.. Any idea

2.0 litre 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine by Nissan, which came from a older gen Nissan Sylphy. The CVT gearbox is also from the Nissan Sylphy
