I know this is several days behind but you can talk to the administrator to give them supplies to increase their strength so they beat the rebellion back. Also ground defesnes for the stability boost.
Magellans are like the polar opposite of UAF, they have extremely thick armor like semibreve proof for a couple of contacts. I have extreme difficulty when fighting their invasion of my planet because missiles other than semibreve can’t pen much, ballistic ain’t much better with bigger ships. I hard challenge for my play through unfortunately I had to kill them, they were being very annoying.
@@shikitohno8446 strategy of mine is having a extremely tanky front line, any ship with good bubble shell, I used the Sunrider from a mod that give me a 90dp massive capital ship so I’m getting that job quite easy. That back line you should pack many aircraft and ship with semibreve with expanded missile rack, and just pick them off slowly. Don’t try to gunhoe in like a badass because their dreads naughts can face tank at best 4 semi. So you just shit in the back and support the front line. Do note that their vanguard will try to flank and move behind your fleet and unlike their capital, they are tanky but fast as hell if you don’t notice. I lost many carriers because I didn’t care putting an escort and they got swarmed later on.

The Magellan man, they have been a pain in my ass for my recent play though, commission to the UAF and it annoying how strong their armor are toward semibreve. Fortunately I went on a bit of a murder, invasion spree against them not out of goal to claimed their planet. I just really want to spite them and gifted their capital planet to the UAF afterwards. I butcher so many fleet that in the end their ship have frequent 5-4 d mods.
27:00 yeah, I did the same error the first time I had an invasion. The fleets orbiting the planet are irrelevant, all that matters is that you reach the planet and drop of marines as reinforcement. So with some good maneuvers or a phase troop transport fleet you can counter invasions without ever fighting a space battle.
Did you know that you can train administrator to tier 2 in academy and get them a total of two skills? You can also use academy to change an officer personality with only 20k credits!
timo please i'm already late for this series . but from now on when you see an invasion pop up READ IT . tbh i'm halfway through the episode and my brain cells evaporated . keep up the good work .
13:50 instead of dropping of marines, go all around attacking and raiding pirate bases and planets for loot. Its a good way to get supplies and make factions like you.
Ya know, I find it funny that with the right combination of buildings, items, and improvements (using sp) you can have up to 300k defense strength for your planet but there will still be idiot AI that decided you are "easy" target and try to invade just to be completely outmatched both in fleet and ground army. Edit: btw for those that do not know, if your planet/station are ever taken from you do try to counter invade and retake that planet within 15 to 25 days because the defenses are still recovering during that time and you have a higher chance of succeeding
I like the sensor ghosts. They're playful. Good luck gettng your planet back. Its best to stick around the colony til your stations and all are up to holding a bit. Stations are strong so as long as you get there in time you should be OK to hold out against larger fleets.
The main problem I have with them, is they're not 'Sensor ghosts' they're closer to 'hyperspace ghosts' for some of them. Playful, yes, but named wrong.
The Magellan were just jealous, they wanted some waifus of their own. Also, you CAN take command of other ships even when you forget to choose to do so from the prebattle interface - just find the ship you want on the tactical map, click on it, and you should see one of the icons that says Take Command. Default hotkey is X You will then go back into the battle screen flying a "command shuttle" which will very rapidly fly towards your selected ship and dock with it, at which point you will now be in control. If you've got Neural Interface skill and the ship has a neural uplink, this will be an almost instantaneous process instead.
I got myself a Puricella as flag ship as well, but slapped some Semibreves on it. With those fast missle rack skill I she has I can spam them quite nicely. I tried fighting while retreating once and it actually is a really nice strategy for fielding all your ships at once if you are over the maximum DP limit. The enemy asli starts in mussle range and clumped up. A really bad descision since my Tsugumos have back facing Semibreves and in total my fleet has 7 semibreve launchers and that can be upgraded to 12 if needed. Yes I let AI use semibreves, but since the officers are the agressive ones or the ones on the Nexy they are in the front and dont shoot my guys in the back.
why don´t you put the taufans on 1 of your carriers ? for money why don´t you salavage some big chips and sell them if you have enough supplies and when you know they don´t give you anything intresting
I would have recommended you take over a whole system for the UAF and then buy the planet once is stabilized. That is a lot less headache for you, if more expensive.
Now, I don't play the game I enjoy watching more than anything, but was there a reason you didn't buy food for your colony from the other planets/stations in your system?
Are you talking about the deficit on the planets? I'm not sure about Timo but for me personally it's cuz when there's a deficit your planets automatically sent out a merchant convoy to import whatever they are lacking
@@aureliusagustinustansil8526 Yea, I just kinda figured hey just go buy some from the local planets to fill the deficit. Didn't realize that the colony sends out a convoy.
I think you are lacking carriers, pick one Zepporia 2 or one Neuzoria, or 2-3 Exoria M or 2-3 Shinoria SP, also try to put a military base as soon as possible, it helps a lot, as try to pick the mission to the red planet, it's a planetary shield, once you learn and construct it, the enemy will have a very dificult time to conquer you planets.
So lets play a guess game of who disrupts shipping, it starts with "P" and end in "irates". So will Timo actually fix the problem by conquering the pirate station with his marines? Nah, that wouldnt be Timo.

MEchs and marines also help.
Iirc the Magellans are by the same mod maker that did Dasault mig, talented guy! Both factions are well balanced and fully fleshed out
