It's amazing that Universal could afford those massive letters to orbit the Earth
You fucking said it
And send a space ship to film them
True haha
Hahaha
Lol
as a 2000s kid I'm most nostalgic for the 2000 - 2012 versions where the earth lights up
I'm here for the shiny earth XD
I mean it still does, just more realistically
yeah bro I miss the old universal intro😫
Same
The shiny things
Crazy to think how long this company’s been around
It is crazy that this company did know faster than Nasa that the world was round.
They’re the reason we have the best movies ever plus we wouldn’t of gotten the Jurassic park movies without them
It’s been 110 years
@@AlfieLarner18 They also gave the world Woody Woodpecker.
Me to
At the start of the early 2000's until the present, they really build it up to sound so grand and epic. Plus, with computer technology constantly improving, they're making the Earth look more realistic which does add to the scale.
While on the other hand, the theme music during the 1990's had a more whimsical feel to it. Like you're getting ready to make way on some magical journey. Actually when you think about it, it's sort of similar to the old Walt Disney melody.
For as iconic as the current theme is today, I'll always keep going back the 90's version.
Not just the early 2000s, but the start of a brand new millennium, one that generations have been waiting for. That's why people went all out on these things by 1999-2000.

Too good for it😊😊❤
Yeah… don’t get me wrong I still like the current day universal music but the 90s one was on a different level especially the early 90s one showing all the previous ones up to the at the time current one
I'm seriously wondering how did they make that 1930's logo with the technology they had at the time, it really looks impressive for the time!
TBH, I think they draw it ... maybe by using mirrors as a template, but I'm sure it has been drawed by hand onto cels
i think they recorded a spinning globe
The 2000 and 100th Anniversary intros are the 2 best. The nostalgia and the goosebumps they bring is untouchable.
no 93-00 is the best by far
The 90s version takes me back to my childhood
yes Jurassic Park
I remember they used to have the original logo during the Land before time and An American Tail.
@@dangerhasa yes the balto animated trilogy
Mines too
Me too.
The modern 100 year anniversary Universal Intro has long been immortalized in my heart as one of the signs of my youth and fond memories.
In some movies I just loop the intro for me because this intro builds hype. Even though the 2000s one was my first
Especially the 2012-2013 one. A montage of past Universal logos set on emotional music to reflect how long of a company has gone, and then the epic entry of the new logo. Dang that's deep xd
Same. I have decided to watch the festive animations we got on dvd (they have my fave universal intro), and the rest of those short films on YT, because it's always a struggle to keep up with live broadcasts.
@@SillyCreatureSally What DVD and short films are you talking about, because I'm intrigued. 🤔😁
@@EB3Rplus The Snowman and Father Christmas are the DVDs. The others are The Snowman and the Snowdog, The Tiger who Came to Tea, etc.
1993-2000 was the goat of all intros. The magic and nostalgia around it just makes this one the best of them all.
I agree!
So much nostalgia here takes me back to the great 90s . The 75th Anniversary tickles me back to my childhood when I saw Back to The Future 3, especially at 4:58 the score (One Last Wish) from Casper 1995 composed by the great James Horner. Then the 100th Anniversary at 5:41 I loved this so much. Our technology has grown with each decade.
Even the 1990-2000 music logo was composed by Horner. And it's marvelous. R.I.P. James 😢
@@maurofranceschi2971 I loved James Horner all his music was magic..
I just saw Back To The Future 3 for the first time today lol
Was trying to place that score thankyou! Absolute movie magic
How the hell does the 75th anniversary tickle u
3:47 is the one we all remember 😂
3:27 for me
ooooh yes
I mean technical speaking the intro s still the same its just that they have updated the graphics a little bit
Pov: turning on the tv on a christmas eve and this is the first thing you see.
I'd say 1:36 because of Woody Woodpecker
The 2000s intro was 🔥🔥 the score! I remember when I went to Universal Tour Park they played that theme. Chills.
One word dude: NOSTALGIA!
1993 thru the 90’s version will always be the best for me. Epic, yet classy and subtle at the same time. Still beautifully shot on film yet with that beautiful transition of “old film” and newer clarity that only 90’s film stock had. Be still my heart.
The 2012-2013, where you get the history transitions is my favorite
1993-2000 and 2000-2005 are my favorite ones ❤️
Bring such a vibeee
Having grown up on the classic Universal horror films, I have rather fond feelings for seeing the little airplane flying around the globe.
Loved the part when the 2013 - Today it was a kinda a mixed intro the music was 2007 - 2012 and the intro was new
2000s universal logo just seems so proud that it made it *that* far into its existance and became one of the best logo ever. They knew it too since we still use it today, and it's the longest logo still going.
The 2000-2005 and 2007-2012 are favorite I was born in 2005 so nostalgia at its finest.
same dude i was born in 2003, the classic 2000s ones where the earth lights up are super nostalgic
Im 2005 too
Jesus, people born in 2005 are old enough to type already? God I feel old..
2000
E 1990
São as minhas favoritas
E 2005 também
@@Fenderak they are literally legal adults
4:00 finally we have a good intro song
i like how they just make the 2020 version less louder
i also missed the 2012 one it gives me the full nostalgic thing 4:51
I loved the crystal ball icon and always waited for it before an Abbot and Costello movie... All of those logos are dynamic. The last one the graphics are so realistic I feel the "U" will bump into my arm!! Thanks for posting!!
As a kid who was born in 87 and grew up in 90s, i love that 1993-2000 intro, looks beautiful and calm yet majestic music. And I could see the country i lived back then, Malaysia one of the first country appear in the intro. And growing up watching mostly american movies, i always daydreamed living in USA and living the life like the american kids in the movies; going to school without wearing school unifor, play baseball or american football, or cycling down the suburbs with other kids. Nostalgic. I wish to visit US soon
*1987-1996
The first of the big studios to hit 100, and that epic theme and awesome CGI make sure you know it! Here's to another 100 years!
While I like how the 2013 logo looks visually, I still really love the fanfare for the 1990 logo (R.I.P. James Horner).
I love the 1960-2000 logos. They remind me of my childhood when I would go through my dad old VHS tape collection and when we would go to blockbuster to pick out a movie to watch as a family. Probably shouldn't have watched some of the R rated stuff but TBH most of the adult stuff went over my head.
2:07 sounds like jurrasic park
Thats sure
2:50 Remember seeing that one on Back to the Future 3 and Child's Play 3.
Ik Back to the future had the best universal logo
3:48 The Universal Fanfare that we still hear today.
Ugghhh It’s The 2007-2012 4:34
omg.. at 3:28 gives me such a nostalgic thing 😭😭
1990-1993
Back to the future
Weird to think that brassy "Universal theme" is a relatively new thing
Tbh until recently I thought they always used a variation of that song. Some sort of Mandela effect I guess.
The 1990-93 theme is my fav. Feels and sounds like childhood
That early 90's theme is burned deep into my childhood memories.
4:58 the music ressemblance casper the movie
The 1930’s one looked really cool, honestly it looked really advanced for its time
The 90s till now are the most iconic to me
3:38 this is intro that was in my year 1997
Thanks for putting these all together in the same video. My favorite movie studio logo of all time is the Universal Art Deco logo. And my third favorite logo of all time is the recent Universal logo with the really huge giant letters.

The 1912 one was my childhood, man! 🥰
Omg- ¿How old are you now?

Lol
damn this company has been around since the age of titanic
The 2007/2012 and the 2013/today intro are the best
00:00 Universal had an intro like that? Zamn!
The change from 2008 to 2013 is insane
2000 is starting best version for me
Damn the 30's one looks almost TOO good for it's time. Is that a remake,or were they just THAT GOOD?
I love the art deco ones too
it must have been a real moving sculpture

I'm pretty sure I fell in love with the magic of movies at 3:03
2000 to 2005 was a goated one. I like the latest one also.
3:45-3:50 actually, the 1990 universal logo ended in 1997, after liar lair was released. Also, they started the 1997-2012 logo from lost world Jurassic park.
Nice video
the universal logo from 1933 was still in use until 1950
2020 The sky is so clear that you can see the Universal Logo
...I remember the "van allen" version of the logo growing up, but the 100th anniversary version is the absolutely the best.
I always love Universal Pictures logo
A Lowercase f
Me too i love universal movies!
Me too except for Univershell and a few others
Imagine if universal made a new logo
nooooooooooooooooooooooo
They should use the 1933 logo
New step: put real floating letters in space and record it.
@@-TacoMan- In order for that to be done, the company would have to make a pact with the world leaders to build 9 space stations in the shape of the letters in a $20,000,000,000 budget, then send a telescope with a 4K cinematic camera and amazing speed and then record the space stations moving in unison to form the end logo.
its their 110th this year
Ah,I remember wanting to eat the 2000s intro!
I'm biased since I was born in the 80s but for me it's the 1990-1993 and 1993-2000 themes. That was my childhood. That theme was truly magic and you knew you were going to a different world. Going on a true adventure. No worries, no stress, just joy being lost in the moment watching a great movie.
1987-1990 & 1993-2000 is my childhood.
Nice video! By the way I love the intro, what music did you use?
2:43 What movie is the music from?
Back to the future 2
Best Intros ever over the Century, damn!
Great video.
Fantastic!
The 2007-1012 one is so nostalgic to me, I love it!
Fun Fact Paramount Was Founded Days After Universal Was Founded
1:18 How so the 1933-34 logo has the Woody Woodpecker theme when the character was created in the 40s? Someone must get their facts more straight here...
My favourite version is a tie between the 90s one (especially with the old ones at the beginning) and the one we got now which is basically the one that came after the 90s one but it sounds more epic-er.
4:11 this sounds kinda lit
I love how Universal managed to create that amazing cinematic music back in 2000-2005!!❤❤❤
Universal pictures majestic 100 anniversary theme music 5:33
Very impressive. I remember seeing those logos before especially the 1990 one and the 1997 one as well. The 1990 logo is my most favourite one of all time.
That 1960-1987 logo must be the longest running one.
Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
We need like a combo of all logos into one for next anniversary !
Born in 2009 and I miss the 2000-2012 logo as I saw Despicable Me on DVD when I was 2 or 3.
When 1990 comes it sounds so beautiful. That’s the year I was born 🥲🥲
Being from the mid-late 2000’s I still kind of remember the 80’s Universal logo. Mainly due to my family’s DVD collection. Spanning from the late 90’s to today. With some movies being rereleases
the 2000 logo lives on through it's music
I will never tired of watching this 😄😄😄😄💝
1990-1996 best universal intro
How’d they make the 1933-1950 logo? Is it actually just hand drawn or what? The way the letters move and the reflection on the globe makes it look almost too advanced to be hand drawn.
The 2000 To 2023 gave me so much nostalgic
Occasionally they have had eccentric "specialized" logos, as when they had a "Dr. Seuss" - style globe for *_The Cat in the Hat,_* and some SF film where Earth's cities went dark one by one.
Rode the studio tram recently, felt inspired to watch this
0:22 0:30 my favorite parts

This logos from 1932 can be found on Woody Woodpecker's oldest episodes

@@sonicfanboy3375 yeah, and it even has the soundtrack of the episodes

I think I can match the Universal openings with the Legend of Zelda series. Here’s what I came up with:
The Legend of Zelda - 0:35
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - 0:48
A Link to the Past - 0:58
Link’s Awakening - 1:47
Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask - 2:20
Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages - 2:48
Wind Waker, Minish Cap - 3:26
Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks - 3:48
Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds - 4:34
Breath of the Wild - 4:56
Tears of the Kingdom - 5:58
Doesn't even make sense
Universal must be the granddaddy of all film companies
