In order to disable the Fn key, I found instructions for my laptop, there is only one way - it did not help. Then I called Dell and Microsoft services - Some offered the option as in the instructions, the second - to update this fucking Windows. Spent several hours on this to no avail.
And only then I decided to go to RUclips and came across your mini video with an instant solution to this little problem.

Use [fn]+ [ESC] The Function key key (F n key eg F4],can be toggled between function [fn]+ [F n] key to get special function or
Or pressing key to get special function, then[fn]+ special function key to get [F n] key eg f4

what he means to say is press fn + esc key to toggle between the two modes. the complete process mentioned above can be done by just pressing this shortcut. It works guys. it works! like his comment until its on the top.

you are changing the function to either multimedia or standard, but how do switch back and forth like lock the standard functions once and vice versa. I do have the small lock symbol on escape key as well but it doesn't do anything when i press fn+esc.
