And also, the clients might want to support a strictly female small business for whatever reason. Theres a lot more things beside just trauma
I feel it's a health risk that the teen daughter is tattooing. I doubt the daughter has any health safety certificates. It's got to be illegal to pierce someone's skin when they have no health safety certificate. She has no knowledge of blood born pathogens, she should not be anywhere near a needle and someone's skin.

honestly, advertising your studio as all-female while still having a man freely entering and working there is so careless and short-sighted. there are a few hair salons in my area that advertise themselves as all-female so that hijabi women can feel comfortable getting treatments on the premises, and it would obviously be a huge violation of trust and that customer's privacy if a man just wandered in while one of the women weren't able to cover themselves. i've been very conscientious about considering artists and studios for my next tattoo because i know i'll likely have to remove my shirt almost entirely and my comfortability with that is obviously going to vary wildly depending on who i know would be there. Ariel may be getting first-time clients but she's going to have a hard time fostering a relationship with any of them if she insists on making promises she can't keep. creating a safe space or promising an all-women space are both actually really hard to guarantee (especially in a male-dominated industry like tattooing), which is why a lot of shops aren't claiming to be either in the first place. ironically, this only makes them more trustworthy by comparison.
Especially for survivors of sa! Imagine being blindfolded and told only women work there just for a man to walk in! Even more so when the tatto could be in a very compromising position!

A lot of people get tattoos from “a friend they know” with the same results as her and unfortunately don’t realize how crappy the tattoo is or what amazing tattoo work looks like, but hey they got a deal on it 😬😑
It’s not just about the man being there but about the trust being broken. I’d feel so vulnerable and hurt when I would lie in that ˋall female´ shop I thought to be a save space, maybe barely covered and suddenly a man walks in… that could be even retraumatizing for some. It’s so inconsiderate of her
I keep seeing reels of her work on Facebook and it’s like the algorithm was preparing me for the updated drama lol also your hair and makeup is so cute always love your looks ❤
Regarding Texas law on underage/child workers: I’m pretty sure that law was made with only traditional jobs in mind. A 14 yr old working a register at a retail store is not the same as a 14 yr old tattooing people. Would Texas allow a 14 yr old to perform surgery on someone if their parent was also a surgeon and decided to employ them? I highly doubt it.
As someone from the US, the US has never been good at regulation when it comes to tattoos and the tattoo industry. They've always been behind by decades in many problems. Same with stuff like Copyright laws. They're all outdated.
Okay here's another possible layer to this "all-female shop" thing she's trying to push. I'm in DFW as well, and there's a really amazing shop with locations in both Dallas and Fort Worth called Lilac Tattoo Studio that truly only employees women and non-binary artists. They've been written about in multiple articles around the city, and their owner, Dominque Ransom, was on the news last year. Dominque even competed against Deanna James to get a spot on Ink Master (Deanna obviously won since she did get that spot), so she has some weight behind her in the metroplex. I mention all of this because what do you think their color scheme is... It's purple and green. Purple lighting and neons and painted walls with greenery and plants and ivy throughout. The minute I saw that video I went, "Oh my god, she's trying to steal Lilac's entire thing now too." The next thing we'll hear is Ariel claiming she broke the ground for "all-female" tattooing in North Texas (and probably the country). I would put money on it.
love coming home to this after getting my shin tatted today :))) also her studio looks so bland and boring, where's all the funky tattoo studio decor??
The sense of deja vu that seeped into my soul when I read the title of this video...again!? She's still at this- bad tattoo etiquette and design and all????
I saw a video of a convention where you paid money and stuck your arm/leg through a hole and you’d get a tattoo completely unseen. The results were good-the artist who did them obviously had talent and I’m sure they weren’t cheap either
15:00 it’s very difficult to find clear info regarding tattoo laws in TX but as someone who’s lived here for over 20 years I can tell you this much: Individual artists are not required to obtain licensure in Texas IF they work at a facility that does have a license, however, they do have to personally register with the state and prove they’ve taken the approved courses regarding bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and aseptic technique. This is the first roadblock: all of the approved courses I’ve seen require you to be over 18. The second hurdle is gaining employment under a shop that is licensed. Ariel is the only artist I know of that seems like she might be ok with hiring minors. If you can’t get an apprenticeship and try to go into business by yourself, then you would need a license which Texas will not give to minors. I may try emailing one of our congressman to get a more concrete answer because I’m extremely skeptical that our state government would allow minors to tattoo the public and since the department of health doesn’t seem to be doing much about her numerous other violations I think it’s time to escalate this.
honestly i would be down for it from some of the artists i go to because they are so talented and i know whatever they came up with would be badass. however getting one from this woman just shows her clients probably don't know much about tattoos and what actual good work looks like.
Omg yes 🤣🤣🤣 I tagged you in a couple Facebook posts from this group I’m in and people are posting her stuff in it. I’m so damn glad I’m seeing this right now lol
The thing is the videos that do say "all female tattoo shop" do not show him, it's only the ones that don't...so she's very much aware what it means to be an "all female tattoo shop" she's just exploiting the vulnerable once again.
I have literally two decades worth of trauma from men, and so much CPTSD. If I encountered a situation where I was promised no men and there were men, I would walk out. Also! If you're a person looking to be tattooed in a space without men and the shop has male employees, talk to your artist. I've had some lovely artists who were willing to tattoo me when they knew male colleagues/clients wouldn't be in the shop, as they were all booking only (no-walk ins) shops. There was even one person who went way out of their way and tattooed me outside of the shop's regular business hours. Also also since we're here, trans women are women.
So my best tattoo was done by a guy whos parents owned the studio i went regularly. He was 22 at the time but his dad had been teaching him (at home) since he was a kid, mostly learning art princeplas but never did work in the shop till he was an apprentice to his parents in their shop for 2 years once he turned 16 if he graduated early from HS (which meant he had to focus on school) I have a tats from guys who were in the business for 30 years and honestly it looks like crap compared to one i got by the shop owner's kid. Legit the most professional young man, everything was super clean, he was super kind and the only person who didnt dig deep into me too. The best healing of my tattoos. If i didnt live 6hrs from the shop now i would have gone back for more. This guy was an example of how you can teach our kid skills before you unleash them on your clients imo.
The question is, did the woman actually mean a mandolin, or did they mean a mandala and misspoke... or is Ariel a bit dim and doesn't know the difference? I mean, if someone would willingly go to her for a tattoo, it wouldn't be unsurprising if the client didn't know the difference, too. 🤷 I would hope she would clarify, or Google and then clarify, but this is Ariel, sooo...!
So many predators are married, have kids and are known as being nice people. And then the truth comes to light. Just because someone is nice and unproblematic to you, that doesn't mean that he may not be a real threat to others. Not to mention that the realest nice guy on this planet could trigger someone with trauma related to men. It's just disgusting to mislead women (or people in general) like that.
My thigh pieces even with fast artist took 3 hours! sternum mandala took 2 sessions. Shin mandalas with dot work took 6-8 hours. That first tattoo was awful. Definitely not symmetrical. Complete mess🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
I don't usually hold to the "you get the tattoo you deserve" kind of mentality, but in this case, if you get tattooed by her, you deserve the tattoo you get.
Vulnerability during a tattoo: Wearing a blindfold and allowing an odd stranger to rapidly tattoo pretty much whatever they want while a minor child wanders about the (barely) semi-sterile field.
Even I, as a man, was slapped on my *ss at a music festival because the guy who did it thought I was a woman, from the back, because of my long hair. This fake safe space is really aggravating.
She is violating certain regulations in texas, i can send you the specifics if you'd like. Part of the issue is people with the proper standing raising the issue not knowing how or where to do it.... i do OSHA work for a living... its all about knowing the technicalities

Tbf female tattoo shops do service male clients still. At least, the ones I have been too. Men are victims of male abuse/bullying too and sometimes dont feel comfortable in male tattoo enviroments. But if you say no men, then no men. Seriously.
Leaving a 12 year old tattooing alone is absolutely terrifying. That huge tattoo in around an hour is crazy. One of my sleeves was like 20 hrs total and about $2400.

Okay that last part actually apalled me. As a queer person (afab) on the spectrum with female related trauma, if I went to a place that claimed to be all male and a woman strolled up to me and said she's working on me, I'd be freaked tf out, so I can't imagine what these poor women must feel for the inverse!😢 No, no, f*king no! If people have gender related trauma or have special needs, either accommodate it or don't, but ffs, *never* lie and say you're something you're not! I consider myself fortunate that I've only been hurt traumatically by one guy, but I know women with far, far worse experiences with amabs than myself and stand by them wholeheartedly. Nah, if I saw that and had serious male related trauma, I'd walk tf out. I wouldn't even stay or speak. I'd walk. If you can't be honest about your employees and who works for you, no way I'm trusting you with my body! Gross gross GROSS mindset by this pow woman! I hope she loses her business within the next few years before she actually has a true victim
At this point, it’s going to take someone being seriously harmed by Ariel for her to be shut down. I doubt she has the correct insurance. Even if she did, she has children practicing in her studio. I don’t know what the regulations are in the US but this would be highly illegal in Australia and she would be shut down and kept from tattooing so fast.
i have the exact same axolotl plushie as you (the pink one in the background ❤) I got one because I used to work with them in the lab (for genetic research)
Had to put some nice music on her outside tattoo vid cause it would just be awkward to see that with just the sound of the machine in the middle of an meadow 🤣
I'm from South Carolina in the US. Our labor and health as well as protection laws are absolutely abysmal, practically non existent. It doesn't surprise me that Texas is no different or worse. In my state there's not even a minimum wage requirement. If someone wants to pay you pennies, they legally could.
How does this woman still have a studio?!? I figured she was finished after the news about her child tattooing got out but now it just keeps getting worse. How is this not illegal???? Having a six years old tattoo should qualify as child endangerment.

Wouldn’t surprise me if she does that
The decapitated doll head in her tattoo 'class' tells you all you need to know 😂😂
😂😂😂😂
The health department needs to step in and shut down this "class" IMMEDIATELY
oh my, the gift that keeps on giving (and i mean "gift" in the German sense) thanks, Lauren! ❤
Hahahhahah
@@human9460 i just KNEW someone would appreciate that 😂
Assuming “gift” in the German sense is the same as the Norwegian sense, 😂
YES! 😂
Okay, I love that 😂 I speak like three words in German, but I understood that reference.
The bangs are bangin today
I saw a stitch with her the other day and showed some coworkers and they thought it wasn’t bad.
You are getting more and more sassy with each video and I'm here for it🩶
Regarding Texas law on underage/child workers: I’m pretty sure that law was made with only traditional jobs in mind. A 14 yr old working a register at a retail store is not the same as a 14 yr old tattooing people. Would Texas allow a 14 yr old to perform surgery on someone if their parent was also a surgeon and decided to employ them? I highly doubt it.
it's Texas so I'm sure the idiot governor would be ok with it
I keep seeing her terrible coverups on TikTok so knew a new Ariel vid was coming. She deserves to be called out on all of her shit!
I'm in a Facebook group for bad tattoos and she's at least 80 percent of the content. 😂😂
me too even after blocking her!
As someone from the US, the US has never been good at regulation when it comes to tattoos and the tattoo industry. They've always been behind by decades in many problems. Same with stuff like Copyright laws. They're all outdated.
Her "glitter" tattoo made me physically cringe
the fact she thinks its a good thing to be fast and cheap with a tattoo is just wild to me, she needs to be shut down
love the funky ominous music on the clips 😂
Her glitter tattoos look like mold 😭
😂😭
They look like when my daughter was little and would play with glitter glue.
The petition is called Stop Ariel Dejesus Unethical Practice and Art Theft
So based on Texas law, could an independent brain surgeon hire his 13 year old son then?
That rule can’t be right. 😂
To work in the office, yes. To practice medicine in any way, no.
The big mandala tattoo looks pretty good when I take my glasses off!
love coming home to this after getting my shin tatted today :))) also her studio looks so bland and boring, where's all the funky tattoo studio decor??
The sense of deja vu that seeped into my soul when I read the title of this video...again!? She's still at this- bad tattoo etiquette and design and all????
no me too! she must just love attention so much that she’ll do anything good or bad to get it sadly
Ariel DeJesus, in the Forest, with a Tattoo Machine - sounds like a Cluedo murder,
I saw a video of a convention where you paid money and stuck your arm/leg through a hole and you’d get a tattoo completely unseen.
LOVE the bangs!!!
hahahah I saw a quick update from Markie, and I was wondering if you were going to cover this!
The fact that someone could decide to have a blindfold tattoo is shocking to me, but to each thier own
I get wanting a blindfold tattoo, the idea is good but her execution is sooo horrible
honestly i would be down for it from some of the artists i go to because they are so talented and i know whatever they came up with would be badass. however getting one from this woman just shows her clients probably don't know much about tattoos and what actual good work looks like.
I gasped out loud at that first tattoo that is SO ROUGH
Uploaded 38 seconds ago? Just what I needed 🙏
To tattoo someone anywhere other than a tattoo studio is fucking insane.😂
It's kind of crazy how Ariel taught her daughter how to tattoo but her daughter's tattoos turn out way better than hers.
Oh no not another thing about this lady! Every time I hear her name my whole body cringes! Thanks for the video, Treacle
Omg yes 🤣🤣🤣 I tagged you in a couple Facebook posts from this group I’m in and people are posting her stuff in it. I’m so damn glad I’m seeing this right now lol
The thing is the videos that do say "all female tattoo shop" do not show him, it's only the ones that don't...so she's very much aware what it means to be an "all female tattoo shop" she's just exploiting the vulnerable once again.
her claiming her husband just manages when you can literally see him seran wrapping and prepping a station in the back of that video
She’s the gift that keeps on giving 😂
I SWEAR that woman said Mandolin, not mandala...but maybe Im crazy...
Omg I heard mandolin too. Thought I was the only one
That's what I heard too lol
Ariel doesn’t know what a mandolin is 😅
The question is, did the woman actually mean a mandolin, or did they mean a mandala and misspoke... or is Ariel a bit dim and doesn't know the difference? I mean, if someone would willingly go to her for a tattoo, it wouldn't be unsurprising if the client didn't know the difference, too. 🤷 I would hope she would clarify, or Google and then clarify, but this is Ariel, sooo...!
@@hawkeyescoffee6399 hahahahaha good point!!!
The way I immediately clicked when I saw there’s a 4th part to this 😭 I’ve been keeping up with the other parts so I’m scared lol
I’m just as scared as I was at the beginning of this video, my god 😭
so glad you are keeping the bangs!!!
I don't usually hold to the "you get the tattoo you deserve" kind of mentality, but in this case, if you get tattooed by her, you deserve the tattoo you get.
Seriously, thank you so much for talking about the safe space thing, the surprise of seeing a bloke can absolutely do a number on you!!
The insane thing is that this whole "all-female" issue would be solved by her literally saying it's all-female ARTISTS. Literally add one word there.
Love that you keep doing these follow ups ❤
Vulnerability during a tattoo:
Wearing a blindfold and allowing an odd stranger to rapidly tattoo pretty much whatever they want while a minor child wanders about the (barely) semi-sterile field.
Even I, as a man, was slapped on my *ss at a music festival because the guy who did it thought I was a woman, from the back, because of my long hair. This fake safe space is really aggravating.
I LOVE your placement of your neck/chest tattooes!!!!!
When “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” on too literal.
(correction):
“is” not “on”
She is violating certain regulations in texas, i can send you the specifics if you'd like. Part of the issue is people with the proper standing raising the issue not knowing how or where to do it.... i do OSHA work for a living... its all about knowing the technicalities
I'll send them to the lovely treacle of she'd like them
The bangs are banginnnn
Isn't it sad that it's 2024 and so many women all around the world still are going through the trauma they get from bad men.😢
I am in love with this hairstyle on you !!! 😍🩷🙌🏼🙌🏼
I was just thinking about this artist the other day hoping she'd learned lol, guess not, thank you always for the videos, your commentary is always delightful, much love to you 🩷🩷🩷

Tbf female tattoo shops do service male clients still. At least, the ones I have been too. Men are victims of male abuse/bullying too and sometimes dont feel comfortable in male tattoo enviroments.
But if you say no men, then no men. Seriously.
Fringe is looking great!!!
Ty 🩷
Leaving a 12 year old tattooing alone is absolutely terrifying. That huge tattoo in around an hour is crazy. One of my sleeves was like 20 hrs total and about $2400.
I don’t have any tattoos, and I don’t think I will ever have one for several reasons. but I like the artistic form of tattoos, so I’m really glad that yt algorithm did a great job for once recommending your page to me! I learn so much and your lovely, and brilliant personality is a huge bonus 🌻
Apparently this woman has never heard the saying “good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good”
Okay that last part actually apalled me. As a queer person (afab) on the spectrum with female related trauma, if I went to a place that claimed to be all male and a woman strolled up to me and said she's working on me, I'd be freaked tf out, so I can't imagine what these poor women must feel for the inverse!😢
No, no, f*king no!
All Ariel has to do for her "all female tattoo shop" is have certain days that are all female. Too difficult for Ariel though apparently.
I am not joking- I LOVE WHEN YOU MAKE VIDEOS OF HER PLEASE NEVER STOP I LOVE THESE POSTSSTSSSSTSS
I thought for a second she was blindfolded when doing the tattoo. Which might have improved the quality.
😂 me too
I'm not sure what is most shocking: Ariel letting her 12 year old tattoo clients, or that clients are getting tattooed by a 12 year old?
At this point, it’s going to take someone being seriously harmed by Ariel for her to be shut down. I doubt she has the correct insurance. Even if she did, she has children practicing in her studio.
I don’t know what the regulations are in the US but this would be highly illegal in Australia and she would be shut down and kept from tattooing so fast.
i have the exact same axolotl plushie as you (the pink one in the background ❤)
I got one because I used to work with them in the lab (for genetic research)
The way my heart always leaps into my damn throat when i hear about this womans 'blindfolded tattoos' before i re-remember that its the clients that are blindfolded and not her...
The mandala tattoo looked pretty decent when I rubbed hand sanitiser in my eyes and took ten steps back.
You’re giving Elvira vibes in the best way!! 🔥 💕
Hi Lauren ❤ will you be doing more subscriber tattoo videos? Love those!
