Other than the new ring, the problem I have with Samsung's new devices is that they rely too much on AI to sell product instead of innovation.

So glad you posted this. I have the Fold 3 and feel like ill actually possibly enjoy the outer display unlike i do the Fold 3.
Great to hear the 6 has come out I am still using a fold 3 as the price is too high for me I am still paying the old phone off but great to hear and thanks for your review .

No camera upgrades is a deal breaker add in the fact you only get £550 trade in value for the Z fold 5 in UK to me that means they dont value there own phones it was £1750 this time last year thats a 68.5% drop which is ridiculous. Seriously considering moving to oneplus open
sell it on marketplace - you can always get a better offer there. I think trade in sucks generally. Maybe only the one that carriers offer.
I planned to get the upcoming pixel fold 2 because not much has changed with the fold 6. However with fold 5 trade in and incentives, I can get a 1tb fold 6 for $683. I'm sure it will cost over $1200 for a 512gb pixel fold 2 with the trade in included. In the US, Samsung may not have the best foldable, but they have the best deal.
Im still on the fold4 so i guess i will notice a difference for me 1 of the most important upgrade i was hoping was the brightness

I definitely need an upgrade. I'm still rocking the Z Fold 3... the middle of the screen is so bad though. I do hope that Samsung has fixed this issue with the 6.
All foldable phones will sadly always have this issue, you can't bend something over and over and expect it not to crack eventually, especially given the fact it's glass
@Earl1403 Agreed. Mine lasted 2 years without any issues but now it's a mess. I am thinking about just taking it to Best Buy and getting the screen replaced as it is covered under warranty but I also would like a newer phone. Oh what to do 😆

Good video! I feel like the Ultrahuman Ring Air might have some advantages, like a circadian clock, caffeine window, stress score, and sleep debt feature. Any thoughts on that? Will you be doing a comparison?

The offers were rubbish! No free buds or watch, they don't offer 512gb for the price of 256gb. Maybe if you wait, you will get a better deal. The trade-in offers were so low.

Samsung keeps improved the fold 6 in a well mannered way so much more premium and more real estate than the fold 5

I had a fold 3 and after 2 times the insurion company who does t mobiles insurance try to tell I'd have to buy a new phone and they would send me a rebate after I sent them a receipt. Dead as fking serious too. Told me they didn't have any in stock so they would have to send me a rebate. Literally had to make several phone calls to t mobiles corporate to get them to replace my phone. Told me that insurion was supposed to replace it and what they told me was illegal ECT. After that BS I switched to OnePlus open. I'm not going through that BS scam ever again. To hell with that f fest. Samsung and insurion can go f themselves for life. Had to go buy an s24 ultra for a temp phone until my oneplus came in. And soon as it did gave it to my sister. F Samsung for life.
£390 for Fold 4 trade in takes the mick considering the 4 still feels like a new phone.
Oneplus Open is the move still. Sasly no wireless charge but other than that, everything else is notably better than the fold 5/6.
the crease is still amazingly big & so easy to see it. wouldn't be able to see a foldable phone without crease in my lifetime!!!

If you look at the comments, theres always a bunch of stupid ass complaints. Lets not forget the only ones pushing the market for real when it comes to phone tech is Samsung, not mf Apple, but SAMSUNG. So stop complaining because this is still the best foldable.
No it's really not. The FKin Xiaomi mix fold 2 was and is STILL better than the fold 6. You must not look into phones for real.

I don't think i could ever get a fold again even tho i really want to. I have had the 3 for about 2 years and within the first 6 months the inside screened turned black and became unusable. Since it wasn't covered i would've had to pay hundreds just to fix it. Don't wanna go through that again.
Maybe get the insurance?
The fold 3 should have had a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Mine was replaced for free when the screen protector started to lift at about the year mark.
did not watch it all coz the phone is so boring, however, the review is amazing and deserves both like & comment ! thanks. Honestly, with all failures that previous gens had I strongly doubt this model as well. So far, we've been offered to pay nearly 2k for a phone that: a) a year or so later might not fully open b) the screen is still soft and can be damaged with a nail due to a tough opening of the internal screen. c) a year a after phone looses at least 50% in its value. And previous gens up to 60-70% over 2 years. On top of that if it breaks, the phone becomes literally a garbage coz selling it for 100$ is just a nonsense and fixing is expensive and won't ever pay back due to a price loss. IDK, very questionable line of phones. Caring one like a baby and being afraid of it falling ... IDK
I'd rather stick to an iPhone that even a year-two after can be sold for at least 70-80% of its initial price. Looking forward to Apple releasing a foldable that will be both well made and will last years without loosing much in its value.

I have the fold 5 and let me tell you the fold 5 and fold 6 they look almost the same..is not biggest upgrades..is not worth the upgrade unless you are rich and want to waste your money..

I have the fold 4 and enjoy the slimmer display. I do have smaller hands. I just ordered the 6 and am hoping it's not a lot wider. The 5 didn't seem like much of an upgrade. I wish the event had talked more about the hardware updates instead of focusing on the AI. Nice video!

Looks like shitty cheap camera lens protectors from Amazon on the cameras this year...not a fan lol...and here in Canada even if you trade in the fold 5 you still end up paying em $1700 on top after tax and trade in. Fuckkkkk that 😅

What no one seems to menfion on any reviews - these dont work with long term use. I won't go near Z fold again though. The main thing was the fold fails, screen protector needs frequent replacing and needs to sent off resulting in constant formatting to neet GDPR. Its a completely redundant product. But no reviewer ever talks about this. Only singing its benefits.
