I never felt it was wise to arm anything slower than a reaver with melee weapons. That poor warlord! ☹ If it had ranged weapons and kept back it would have been a very different story... But it was a fun match regardless and looking forward to the next one.
The strength of writing in Titandeath means I hate Vulpa - even as a play a melee, corrupted, traitor legio - but ouch, I felt for Johnny when that Vox Blackout went down.
Great report, if a little brutal! A few rules notes though: 1) Around 39:00 you talk about Warp missiles vs weapons. Not sure which rulebook you’re used to but my version (current Starter kit) explicitly describes Warp missiles against weapons. On 1-3 it’s disabled, 4-6 same but 1 Body Structure damage. 2) I think you forgot to resolve any Concussive results from the Warlord Power Claws, unless there was some rule or wargear that removes it? 3) Targeted attacks in melee, you seemed to be giving ‘free’ targeting but I think it should be at -1 to hit (rather than the -2 at range) Edit: ignore that last point, just spotted that Melee trait does indeed give free Targeting 😅
Yes my rulebook is old! It’s also reformatted to be even better in the new matched play book so all good there now! Yes we probably forgot concussive 😂 Melee attacks can target for free! Only none melee weapons suffer the -1
Dont think you could have charged the Warlord side Alex, at least not while keeping the Warlord in the front arc and getting attacks? Just as well you didnt try!
It was a tight one. Looking at the top down I reckon I was over 50% in his side arc so could have claimed it. But better that I didn’t claim it than make a mistake and it be in my favour!
@@TheKingElfstone yep that’s right checked this one after, it’s specific to locos seized as it doesn’t make the same definition in the movement section. It just says “every inch counts as two” so we have always played that as a half. Every days a school day!

When did AT become so crazy with its lists construction?
The corruptions added in some changes where they were released but these lists are fairly common ones you see in the uk these days!

I’ve never had much success with that either! But when it works for Vulpa, it’s terrifying!
