Thank you so much man I went to use my slash today and it didn’t wanna roll, the first thing I did was takeoff my pinion gear, thinking something in my transmission grenaded but it rolled freely. Then I plug the battery in a notice that my mother was making a squealing sound! Same motor and when you give it throttle, it would only spin for half of a second before stopping it was all binded up, I took off the motor, cover under the screws and took off the first plate and clean the bearing and everything very well and moved the motor up and down and it freed all the dirt it’s working perfectly again

Arrma 3s let’s in a ton of dirt. My bearing in motor exploded. The can and armature are very dirty. Is it safe to spray contact cleaner on it and in motor can to clean it out? I’ve read a few people said yes and a couple said no. ? Thank you in advance. I was also thinking of blocking unused motor holes to keep dirt out and under motor where rocks and dirt get in.

Lol. You would be amazed what you can find. If you remove the stock bearings and put ceramic bearings in the motor you can gain some et and mph.

I have that motor in my bandit & yes I run it on 3s & the lipo I'm running it on is the ho vo & yes it litterly makes my bandit rip!!!

One plastic shim is supposed to go on the pinion side of the rotor and the other goes on the cap side before that brass bushing
