I've used my cloud 2 wired for over 4 years now. The plastic ends on the forks have... Lasted. They look new and feel new. And they are the only headset I own. Used them for movies, phone calls, gaming (console and pc), quite versatile. The 60+ ohms this headset boasts also work quite nicely with my LG G8's quad dac for music. I'm assuming that's this wireless cloud 2 is not worth upgrading to.

I have the Cloud II and the Cloud Base's. I purchased the Arctis Pro Wireless to replace my Cloud II for my PC. I have a big head and I had to return the Arctis Pro. Just ordered these Hyper X Cloud II wireless as it was just released today. Hopefully they fit exactly the same as my Cloud II and Base's and I will be set. Having a big head sucks.

I bought my hyper x keyboard based off your review and I have been very happy with it. Now I purchased this headset because of this review too. I think hyper x is my favourite brand. The lack of bloatware is a big ups for me. I had a razer headset but it seemed like every time I went to use it I had to wait for a software update. This headset worked great as a plug and play and the wireless range is really nice. Thanks again man keep doing these reviews!
I'm probably buying these but I'm still dissapointed they only included the leather earcups, not the cloth ones that you get with the Cloud (2). I much prefer the cloth for comfort.

Here is a warning please do not buy anything from wicked cushions because they are the same quality as the stock standard ones and do not last long at all all-tough they might look appealing please avoid purchasing it because they are overpriced including the shipping prices and i hope i helped some people reading this 👍

Thanks for the great review, you convinced me to buy this headset, out of the 3-4 I had narrowed it down to. I just broke my old Turtlebeach headset and I use my headset for work as well as gaming, so I needed to get a new one right away. The main deciding factor for me in a quality headset was comfort and durability. Also the wireless, I was always getting my corded one tangled up on all the other stuff on my desk. Sometimes for work I'll be using my headset for 3-4 hours at a time and the Turtlebeach would get very uncomfortable and so I'd always be trying to adjust it, which is how I broke it. Should be here tomorrow, can't wait to try it out.

Man, I use a small strap to tighten the cord on the fork. It seems to make it a lot less prone to detach or brake...
