Thank you, I am 4 weeks into a broken foot and normally do lots of exercise. This is great back to calm, body awareness and core strength. Feeling much more positive.😊
Thanks for your comment ! So glad to hear this routine helped you ! Always good to check back into the body with exercise 😊 hope you have a speedy recovery !
Thank you. Loved this. 3 months tomorrow healing from a serious foot/lower leg injury after a fall. At least 6 more weeks in boot and still no driving. Was feeling down. A friend came and took me to a pool tonight. First swim all summer and was feeling like some more movement. Love pilates, miss pilates. Found your video. I'll def be doing this again and again. It was tough. But felt good. Starting from scratch. Building strength in different ways. Thanks.
This was perfect for needing to keep weight off one of my feet and still exercise. I’ve got very limited pilates experience but your directions gave me everything i needed to follow along without having to worry about doing the right movement. Thank you! 🙏🏾
Thank you for making this! I’ve been feeling so immobilized by a broken foot- but this was just what I needed to remind me what I actually can do. Feeling so uplifted 🙏🏼💕
2 weeks into a fractured ankle and this is getting me back on track to staying active whilst immobile at home. I cannot stress how important staying physically and mentally fit is, esp when I was always moving and doing sports pre-foot injury. Thank you for this video! ❤
Thanks Ashley for this. Shows I don't have excuses to stay inactive with a sprained ankle. This gave me a sweat and it was super refreshing, made my day.
Excellent 👍 thank you Ashley 😊😊 Slowly started walking with crutches after the ankle surgery and six weeks recovery in cast/ moon boot . Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
Excellent! I do have a foot concern. I had bunion surgery about a year ago and I want to be careful about a full plank position. Thank you for this work out. It feels fantastic!
Thanks for your comment Jo ! Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately I’m not as active on this channel anymore as I am focusing on my French channel at the moment. In the meantime, here are some other beginner videos I have done that don’t include any loading of the feet and should be fine for most foot/ankle injuries ! Some may just need slight modifications (i.e. high kneeling instead of low kneeling to avoid compression). You can find the videos I have listed below in my “Pilates for Beginners” playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLDUmBHJYe2Xs1v-9Kk351AA2pjF1HUJCL 1. 10 minute everyday abs (September lockdown challenge day 5) 2. 10 minute Pilates for toned arms (September lockdown challenge day 7) 3. 12 minute core focus Pilates 4. 15 minute gentle calming Pilates 5. 12 minute Pilates for posture 6. 5 minute Pilates for neck pain 7. 8 minute Pilates arm workout I do have some other beginner videos that are mostly foot/ankle friendly but may have a bridge series you might have to just skip for now. I hope this helps ! 😊
You must be assuming a very minor foot injury because the feet are on the ground for every single exercise. Literally none of this is consistent with my instructions from the Fracture Clinic.
