We talked for 12 months and got engaged the first day. We had it planned out. My first divorce was finalized after i met my fiancee. But our K1 visa did get approved back in August.

    Thanks Jim!
We had 2 years worth of visits, ballpark of 8 total visits in that timespan.
Lots of memories and photos we used for evidence.

We chatted for about two years and met and married the same day I flew to Pakistan. Crazy, I know! 😅 But I actually overstayed in Pakistan and flew back when I was about 7 months pregnant to have my baby in the US. We stuck around.❤ maybe we are an exception

Just married in December. Filed my I-130 & 130A for my spouse in Jan. She just completed her masters and is interviewing for a doctoral program spot. Her I-20 expires in May. I am currently waiting for the 693 paperwork to arrive in the mail and was planning on sending in my 485, 693, and 864 all together in one packet to ship out all together (I think I can do that). My question is how do I get her the ability to work. She is going nuts sitting at home and not able to work.

Hi Jim. I started my relationships in Aug 2019 before Covid hit. We became engaged via video in June 2020 and we continued videoing twice a day ever since. As a caregiver for my parents I was not able to travel until the caregiving need ended. It was hard to travel to Pakistan being with travel restrictions so we were able to get her to UAE and to set her up with an apartment and UAE ID care and Residence Visa. I finally was able to travel to see her in Nov 2023 and in Jan 2024was approved with a Pakistani visa to travel to Pakistan and her home city to get married with all family present, both being Roman Catholic, in the Catholic Church. have not returned back to USA Pennsylvania, to work. And sell a house. I filed the I-130 and I-130A forms in end of February 2024. As we have records submitted since Aug 2019 although only seeming face to face once in 2023-24 with this be a problem of applying to fast?? I felt our long four years together three of which we were engaged with be acceptable for the starting the filing?? Was I wrong…???
