I love how instead of fixing the minute defects the layout has they just run with it and whenever a derailment happens they’re just like “another one for the comp”. Love the vids
6:21 There was an actual incident like that. Basically, the Northern Pacific (or some other RR) had a turntable and a steam locomotive was waiting on one of the tracks. The engineer thought that the turntable was being lined for him, but in actuality it was being set up for the next track over. When it reached his spot, he pulled open the throttle, the loco surged forwards, the turntable continued on, and the engine's pilot buried itself in the ballast of the turntable pit.
Great compilation of the wrecks! This model club layout nearly rivals with the Northwestern Railway from Thomas with all the crashes. If the guys of the club i am part of see this, they would tear their hair outta their heads with all the derailments and crashes. Also, here's a list of things to prevent damage to your models. *Level out the sections / fix any misalignments or kinks in the tracks *Convert all rolling stock to Kadee metal couplers *Curl up or cut off the coupler hoses that get caught on switches and diamonds. *Make sure all rolling stock are in compliance with NMRA coupler height gauge. Hope this helps, Kind regards, CJ.
Also, when consisting locos, put the fastest ones at the front of the consist and the slowest ones at the rear. However, if the locos have DCC, change the CVs to equalize the speed curve.
These films are a total hoot to watch, the sound effects, and such just make them hilarious. Between the cat without proper track and time permission and the occasional "Nope" It's hard to not keep laughing. The junction near the interlocking tower should be called "Malfunction Junction" 🤣
I noticed a lot of the derailments are caused by the airbrake pieces hanging off the couplers. They often tend to hang too low and get caught on cross tracks, switch tracks, and sometimes even the molded track ties themselves.
It's expensive or hard to replace/repair tracks or car ? You showing like always the same spot, a good example is the railroad crossing with one track ending in void, always couplers issue
If this layout was built to represent the Penn Central (Which I know it's not), then it would be the most prototypical model layout ever. - Sid
There's enough NS equipment present on the layout to justify anything wrecking lol
@@SCL3618FR! lol! 😂

0:02, “Mile Post 253.1, Track 1, No Defects.”
Immediately a derailment Occurs.
As an HO Scale modeller, i can confirm that all the trains make the silly sounds.
There's certainly something to be said about the MoW forces.😂 Love the videos and effects. Great job 👍
You guys have as many train wrecks as Norfolk southern. LOL 😂
@davezepnick1161 There's enough NS equipment on this layout to make that plausible lol.
Thanks for not just using deja vu or running in the 90's 😂 good taste in eurobeat
@tripwire3992 Had to mix it up a little! Plenty of good tracks out there that people skim right over.

This layout give the barge to say
Lucky no one was hurt except for the trains
Have you got any Alaska railroad models or is it a mueseum?
@HazbinHotelAlastorYT This is just a club layout, I don't have any Alaska equipment but another club member does.
Ok no worries I’m just from Alaska and I wanted to make sure
Cause I’m like a HUGE HUGE fan like a 10 year old 8 year fan to the Alaska railroad
40:41 those honk got me rolling 😭😭😭
Aw honk here we go again
I remember when this series was brand new
Nice video!
It’s always that one box car, tanker, or hopper. I swear.
I swear this is like NS if they were a layout how the heck does this layout have so many crashes to make an entire compilation video! lol 😂
I hate when the hose of the knuckle couplers get caught on points and the like!
That track testing truck got bullied.
I have an Idea for CP 1246.
Yo where is this at because I wanted to see if I could run two of my DC Ho scale diesels on the lay out
Around 1:06:29 what are they saying?
Been wondering, do you still play Trainz?
@@SteamIsntKing Not that much as of late.
0:45 unstoppable alternate ending:
Those ho scale couplers are finicky aren’t they

Is this the end of the wrecks videos?
@joenewstead4848 Not the end, but this is all footage up to current time.

Is 4346 a southern pacific northern?
@@oddjob1795 4363 is an SP MT-4 mountain.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Is this at a train club?
Yep. In fact I'm one of them that most of these were filmed at.
0:52 he napping real quick
Bachmann E-Z Mate couplers are to blame for 90% of these incidents.
@michaelramsey82 lol not quite, if anything only 3 cars in the whole video were still running EZ mates.
Like the way where you're about to say shit but an anime girls voice plays to cover it up 4:50 to add in do you even watch anime?
0:38 SEGA nope bye bye tracks
lol happens to me all the time too
4:04 bro was hungry for a gevo snack 🤤
I love the SpongeBob your good in this video
BETTER CALL R J CORMAN
I think penn central influenced this layout
At 4:17 that’s karma for not putting a DPU on that train.
DPU on this layout can be more trouble than it's worth, head end pulls are more fun.
Dude a cra-saaaagaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Nice and funny video 😂😂😂

I never knew Denny's started serving model trains
