- Racing in the norwegian class GT5 with my 944 Na. Upgrades to the car: Full roll cage, 27mm front roll bar, 20mm rear roll bar, bilstein shock absorbers, Dansk rear muffler, wheel spacers front and rear. Toyo R888R tires 205/50R15.
Absolutely astounding save avoiding the green opponent at 3:39 !
Thanks, really good training driving in this class. 30 cars in the same race on a 2300m track.
nice piloting!!!! man thought u had a chance to pass that green car when he lost traction, you have skills
great driving
jesus christ you are mashing on that ring and pinion! love the 944's have you considered double clutching? Also I am quite surprised at how well your car is planting. Do you happen to know the stock size sway bars??
The car is planting well but a bit loose in the high speed corners. It's running 26.8mm in the front and 20mm in the rear (adjustable), with a torsion bar from a turbo (28mm) . Camber plates and Bilstein in the front and Koni in the rear. The rest of the bushings and front springs are from 1982 . The transmission does have a syncro so shouldn't need to double clutch. I'm rev matching and heel toeing during braking. But i agree the upshifts is a bit hard in this video :) Done over 40 races with this original transmission.
Stock sway bar size depends on model and production year . This one is a Na from82 and came with 19mm in the front and 14mm in the rear.
@@CarsonmyMind The transmission in 944 is a pure love 😍
Is this a 158 hp or a 944s with 190 hp?
It's the european version with 163hp, 1982 NA
Never felt this 190HP in 16V. I picked a 2,7 instead. It needed only getting back to stock parts to pull sooo...smooth. The torgue curve looked like a nice tit with a flat nipple.
