Reminded me of the earliest Rampage days when there was a lot less earth-sculpting, when Gee Atherton and Cedric Gracia and I think also Steve Peat, rode down like they were on a DH track. Many groaned that it wasn't showy enough. What they did was similar to what Goldstone just did.
“Jump for show, turn for dough” He was RIPPING those berms! It looked like the camera was sped up in a couple of those turns! 🤘

I counted 45 times for me.
That was riding on another level. I watch a lot of racing. You can tell this kid is flat out magic. Nobody came close. When he continues to the bigger stages and continues this level of riding, everyone will be competing for second.
Seems a lot like Minnaar was at the same age.
For real this kid has the potential to become the next Minnaar

Goldstone did it?!? WOW!!! Seeing this I understand why. He was so courages through some of this parts and I could tell where I would have layed down on at least 7-8 Moments where he just went straight trough! Amazing! Respect!!!
I had a feeling he would. The lads wheels don't appear to touch the ground.
You can only do it when you are young. With age it comes calculated risk and it's just not worth it to you any more! So yeah, if someone, young ones can break them records!

I don’t know if it could possibly have been done much better than that. Wow wow wow, that is one fearless kid. One of the most physically impressive things I’ve ever seen done on a mountain bike.
Jackson probably the worlds best at carrying speed through such corners. The way he leans into them almost without braking and manages to stay so smooth and not lose grip is unlike anyone else i've seen
I can't fathom it, full commitment and rapid execution. Mind must be operating as fast as an F1 driver

Watched this. Looking at the future of downhill mountain biking right here. Only 18 and first time at redbull and won by 7 seconds and made it look easy whilst doing it. The new breed if downhiller has arrived!
I just got back from my first mountain bike ride after like 2 years immobility culminating in spinal surgery from the Army. I can't wait to get back into shape and get going on crazy lines again.
This is just incomprehensible, even to someone who knows and loves the sport...hats off to everyone who competed.
After years of gopro footage that makes stuff look easier than it is and becoming a little jaded on it, this is shockingly refreshing. There were a few moments in this where I was genuinely puckering because of how fast he was going through rough stuff! This is a great perspective on an incredible run. Really nice.
Guy definitely had a weight advantage getting down that hill with them balls of steel. Class act well done 🤟

I'm nearing 60, been dhing since, the 90s. While progression is continuous, this was like watching a superhero on a bike. The last wooded section he touches earth 3 times in maybe 7 seconds over 100 ft horizon and maybe 60 vert. That was precise.
At 18 years old ? Great future lies ahead with this guy!

Jackson's POV trail previews towards the end of the World Cup season really caught my attention.
Casual conversation at mach speed flat out down the trail. I'm not surprised with this win at all.
You could tell as soon as he was into the treeline that it was over.

He’s so fast and so brave jumping those gap jump. I am new to mountain biking and still learning, I hope I can have that kind of braveness and skills. Some telling me that I’m too late (I’m 40y/o) but for me it’s better to be late than never 🤙🏼

This fantastic guy today gave a lesson to all the big riders at the most extreme competition of this sport, he not only proved to have the skills, a right insanity and a great control, but also a cold blood, because he do not made a single mistake even under that pressure given by all the eyes on him today. The same cold blood has left at least two great riders today, and this makes the difference between a talented rookie and a young champion. Well done Jackson!
