I'm about to do my first wrap on a 2002 Maxima, I want to use Vivid because it looks better than Avery or 3m but I hear is a lot harder to install on for a person with no experience.
I've only worked with Avery and Vivid, and Vivid was more challenging to work with, but not impossible. I bought plenty of extra vinyl because it was my first time wrapping as well, but I managed to do it without needing to scrap any panels. Definitely prep work is the key, and do tons of research. You can check out some other videos on my channel about tools and some prep work, as well as some references to other great channels that I used to learn from. Good luck!
Exactly what I was looking for in video. The older stuff is half the price.... the older stuff is rock solid as it is so for now. While I'm learning... I'll buy the cheaper stuff. On the new stuff....I bought to do mirror caps. WOW it's nice.
Right on! I definitely advise buying lesser expensive rolls to learn on. I’m definitely no professional, but I found it much less stressful to learn and work with vinyl that’s much cheaper. And even Vvivids regular gloss line still looks great!
Great video - we're back on track for stock!
Thanks! That’s great because these colors are awesome!

Awesome, I’m interested in that China blue but I would’ve liked to see it out in the sunlight! 🫤

Vinyl wrap? Supra? Now that sounds like click bait! I’m in!
How does the new stuff work with knifeless tape is too thick to cut?
you spent half the video rambling before even showing the wrap colors and longer until we saw what they looked like installed. smh
Appreciate the feedback! I’ll try and work on that for future videos!
