- 15mm Papal Army update depicting painted miniatures during the Italian wars, 1499 to 1550 AD. MINIATURES ARE FROM VARIOUS WONDERFUL COMPANIES LIKE BLUE MOON, KHURASAN , AND SOME PRINTED FIGURES. THIS IS A 15 MM ARMY JUST HISTORICAL REPRESENTATION.
Fantastic looking minis. Can't wait to see them on the tabletop.
Stunning army as always. You create such historical value. What a pleasure, I really like your videos. Nice to see you again! Thank you Mr. Krause.
Well that was a nice note! That made my day 😎
Fantastic looking figures Kevin. I really appreciate your channel, for both the knowledge you share, and the inspiration you provide.
Thanks. I feel the same about you. I appreciate your positions and perspectives. I relish the day when you launch a new video.
An unusual and interesting army, with splendid colors...Cracking job on these Papal units!
It’s coming all together. The knights will be in gold oooooh 😂😉
I like making my own flags by painting on aluminum foil. if you get the shield right nobody cares about the rest. Looks great!
I have only done a few of my flags on aluminum foil, I’ve done a few on stamped tin, but have preferred now doing it on harder more quality paper stock that doesn’t bleed. The computer helps me a lot as I do my own renderings and drawings. I used to paint my own freehand flags, but now do it solely in Adobe.
For this army, I used a few of Pete’s flags which I found. Very interesting. I like them a lot, but I feel guilty buying flags.
My papal states army is just in the beginning stages I have a few condottiere and a bill and now unit
I am also finishing it up today and maybe by tomorrow I should put it up on video and hopefully you’ll like it. But thank you for commenting. I’ll look for your advice and your feedback when I put up the new one.
@@thekrausecollection15mmmin53 a few of my units like my bombards and organ guns do double duty with other armies
Well I am the king of double duty. I still need to find some decent pipe gun artillery. I only have the big guns. Any suggestions?
@@thekrausecollection15mmmin53 I've had to make my own organ guns and some sizes of bombard. Brass wire works well in smaller scales plastic straws or styrene in larger scales. You have to cannibalize for wheels of course
Oh I would love to see those pics. I can model but never thought of that. That sounds great to be honest. I would like to try that.
