I bought the RST gloves from you guys and have absolutely loved them. Been down on them a couple times and for the price the durability seems to be unmatched. For me they had quite a bit of break in but I tend to be right in the middle of two sizes and they were probably a little on the tight side for me. But after a while of wearing them they have felt absolutely amazing and would highly recommend them as a budget option.

When Five was distributed here in the US we put some effort behind the brand because we liked them and found our customers did as well. The distributor closed up and we purchased the remaining race gloves then reached out to Five asking to buy direct so we could keep things moving. They did not respond to several emails sent which tells me they do not value their partners that help them get their gloves on peoples hands.
End of the day there are a lot of good gloves out there and there is nothing about the Five race gloves that we did not find others to do as well or even better. Our job is to help our customers source quality products that deliver solid value that are backed by proper support from the brand. Five hits all the marks with the exception of the last one. - Van

Bought three pairs of Racer gloves, and can't imagine wearing anything else. Brian Van does a great job explaining every glove in a video, including fit. I've bought so many gloves online that didn't fit because I had no idea they fit larger or smaller. Brian tells you exactly how Racer gloves fit, and so far, his explanations have been super accurate. Happy to give STG my business because of the honesty and accuracy of Brian's descriptions.

What’s up Brian! Just want say your son Max seems awesome and good luck to him. My 17 year old is getting in bikes because I’ve been riding sport bikes since I was 14.
I know this message doesn’t apply to the video, just want to say thank you for having everything I have purchased and helped save my life when someone T-boned me. My Arai helmet and Alpinestars jacket, oants, and boots with all the armor saved my life. 9 broken bones ,yeah it’s sucked being on the trauma helicopters. But without the riding gear and armor you all sell and provide, all the EMS said the gear saved my life. I just want to thank you 🙏

Van, great video as always. I purchased the RST gloves from you guys and as many of my previous comments about RST products, I absolutely love them. These are such a no brainer. I could have probably gone down a size to a medium but after 2 years break in they still feel great. These gloves also have Kevlar inside. I encourage everyone to see the full breakdown Van does of these gloves. They are his #1 best seller for a reason. The quality and value make these a great purchase. I know I always rant and rave about RST products but there are certain purchases that I've made where I am extremely satisfied.
As a side note. I'm the guy that values quality for a great price and don't mind opening the budget if the quality is worth it and I'm really big on customer service. I shop at Costco for everything for this same reason. And if I can't get it there chances are I probably just won't get it. But I digress . I have absolutely no buyers remorse when it comes to RST gloves, Evo 4 leather and Boots. I travel to work and each time I put on my gear and take it off, I'm always grateful that I purchased these. I'm actually looking to purchased the RST backpack because I need something bike oriented for my daily commutes and what I currently have just isn't suffice and for $40 bucks you just can't beat the quality associated with RST. Plus Costco had a regular puma backpack for $40 which makes the RST a no brainer.
As for service, Van has been doing this for a very long time ladies and gentlemen. Nothing against your local Cycle gear because I like some of the guys in there. But STG is family owned and they beat everyone else's price on everything and once you apply your rewards to your purchase, it becomes and even better deal. Van and Max's videos on products are 2nd to no one along with their shop videos. I've learned how to install my cans, chain maintenance, fender kits. It definitely takes the guess work out of it and they make things easier. I can't say enough about these guys.
All in all, great video. Van, I am such a happy and satisfied customer and really appreciate you guys. The STG stickers are on my gixxer 750 and my dresser and thats saying a lot. Keep up the great work bro.

Hey, Brian….. we appreciate improving video quality but just wanted to offer a tip that would massively improve lighting. Your side lights are too small and therefore the light is too harsh on the sides of your face while leaving your front in shadow. Move the side lights as close as possible or get bigger ones…. or add diffusion. You could even dial the power down a little if possible. That would be a big help. Also, if you add a beauty dish light overhead on a boom ….centered and a bit in front of you….. you will get a massive improvement in lighting. EVERYTHING will look better. You…. the products you’re showing…. colors…. just everything. Just a few tips from a photographer who knows a bit about lighting. 👍🏻

At $124 I would replace them before repairing them. I look at gloves like a wear item (like tires or brake pads) that need to be replaced as time and miles accumulate. You control the bike with constant input from your hands so they are always in contact with the controls. Add getting wet with sweat and drying out into the mix has an impact on their life as well.
Over the years I have seen the same pair of gloves have completely life cycles for different riders as well all ride a little different. Some riders are harder on the gloves than others. I have a pair of the same gloves that are like 4 years old now and I still ride in them. - Van

First off GREAT VIDEO!!!!! I personally own the Alpinestars GP Pro R3 and the GP ProR4. For me the size chart is off on the R3 Gloves. I measure 8.5 around the part of the hand the size chart recommends which would put me in a medium. In the R3 I wear an X-Large, In the R4 I wear a Medium which is true to the size chart. That is just my personal experience. I actually sent back an X-Large R3 thinking it was mis-sized and after reordering It was the correct size. I hope that helps someone. I would also agree that the internal stitching on the R4 is a downgrade. I would also like to mention that I have ordered products from this company personally and I will 1,000,000% do business with them in the future. If they have what I need then they are my #1 choice. I ordered an M4 Slip on exhaust for my 2024 ZX10R and it fit better than my stock exhaust.

I got the gauntlet gloves about a year and a half ago and have had absolutely zero complaints and they have held up great. I just recently purchased the TracTech Evo 3 boots and the Evo 4 suit on the assumption that they would match the quality of the gloves and they absolutely did. When comparing them to similar priced brands like sedici the quality difference is immense, even just in material quality. Five gloves have 3 different models in my personal top 5 gloves I like to wear.
You used to sell Five Gloves.
    Not anymore.
    Why is that ?

- Van

thoughts on the Rev'it Jerez 3 gloves?

Awesome gloves! Snug fit, one size up. Snug fit for fingers and knuckles. Very high quality build. I have Held, Dainese, Macna, Five and Revit. All top range gloves and Jerez 3 is probably at the top.

In my opinion they are not as good as the gloves featured in this video. If I thought they were I would have included them. - Van

When they were being distributed here in the US we sold them and had success with them. The distributor that was importing 5 went out of business so we reached out to see if we could buy direct like we are with other brands. After several attempts and no response we gave up. They are coming back now and I will not sell them because of that. End of the day the 5 are at best as good as the gloves we feature in this video. With the brands shown in this video there is basically zero chance of supply issues which can also leave customers with warranty claims with no where to go. - Van

Rst gloves have no wrist protection

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Месяц назад

They have the padded TPR section on the gauntlet to cover the end of the ulna that offers plenty of protection. If you were to add any real serious wrist protection to a motorcycle glove it becomes too restrictive to ride with and creates a whole new set of problem. You have to balance having enough dexterity with protection. I have been doing this a long time and would never ride in nor let my Son Max race in a pair of gloves I felt came up short. - Van

    No top line gloves?
    If it don’t cost over $450 I don’t want it. 😂

If I were going to spend $450 on gloves it would either be 2 pair of Racer Hi Per or 4 pair of RST TracTech. The only thing a $450 pair will do for you these won't is cost a whole lot more. - Van
