Holy shit, Jar Jar's arc in this is kinda brilliant. The fact that it's written into the script that he's trying to talk normally because everyone hates the way he speaks is pure genius from Lucas and of course everyone thinks he's a joke but then at the end he stands up and gives this rousing elegant speech, speaking almost perfectly normally...he's one of them now and they're cheering him on...and in becoming one of them he's been tricked. They still think he's a joke and they've used him to doom the Republic. Some of it is in the final film though they didn't really end up doing the idea of Jar Jar speaking normally.
Lucas knew about code switching back then. The struggle of a outside kid who makes it to the big city and has to adapt mannerism, language, and dress to fit in.
Oh my gosh so much fun Vivian was so funny and held her own with these comedy greats Jess was great and her padme outfit 🔥 Hal Lublins Poggle the lesser was so good I thought maybe he voiced the original character. Bobby’s puppeteer ing was fantastic and the fact he made the costume is adorable. Hayley’s anakin is a classic. The best part about this though is not the talent but that you can tell they’re all having so much fun doing this show.
It’s wild how I’ve seen these movies hundreds of times and yet, both times I watched you guys actually interpret the dialogue as real words, I suddenly understood all these parts of the plot I used to just let wash over me. 😂

Another wonderful reading. Jess McKenna, Vic Michaelis, and (some of) the Superego lads in the same room is such an overwhelming conglomeration of my favorite people in comedy that I might just pass out.
