They certainly earned their appearence money, which for races as prestigious as London, is quite a few thousand. Two of them are regular Kipchoge pacers, and were part of his SUB2 challenge, so no doubt their also on Nikes main pay role. Just look at the stride length of the top elite runners, twice that of your average club runner. Coming under 46min for 10miles, with a further 16m to go, at the same pace, Impressive. Surprised that the likes on Daniel Wanjuri fell apart, with a 2-03 PB, what happened there ? Their running career is fairly short by sporting standards, so doing a great job on race day, gets noticed, and a pat on the back from head coach. Good them them, a job well done.
It will be very awesome experience if Kipchoge was placed at the last row b4 the marathon began and see him passing them like the fastest car ever invented.
Interesting to see how the media pumped this up to be a battle between Kipchoge and Mo, but at the beginning is the only time I saw Mo in front with everyone else. After that, you didn't even know he was still in the race.
11:53 Kipchoge runs to the final water point, gets himself a drink and gains 5 meters courtsey of the acceleration to the water point. The Ethiopian ignores that move, never takes a drink for himself to keep himself cool and hydrated for the final 2Km. Thats was a big mistake from the young man..After that Kipchoge completely destroyed him. That was a masterclass tactic from Kipchoge.. The young man never recovered.

Geremew broke the old record and we are not even appreciating it. A year ago it would be crazy. Ok, he had a pacemaker till the end but that's not the point.
pace setters from Juveentus did a good job
hahahah Juve hahah

Maybe from newcastel
I think he’s a 2:05 guy??? Still, maybe just a one-hit wonder, making Eliud all the more extraordinary.
Marathon these days seems to be Kipchoge is setting the pace and everyone else tries to stay near him as long as possible
Usernahmenlos it’s honesty insane how good he is
He was looking at the pace setters like "that's all you got ?" 😂
Hey guys good to run
Next year I will replace him

I like how everyone claps for Kipchoge. They know he's a legend.
That time you ran a sub 2:03:00 marathon and lost... Kipchoge is superhuman
0:46 The intro for Mo Farah is epic
" Holds every UK record from 1500m to marathon except mile and 2000m"
😂😂
He just blows my mind every time I watch him run.
Kjy7yggy
that sounds like eliud's playlist in his head while running the marathon :)
Spank Spank Spankspank
😂
the technique of Kipchoge is so smooth, so beautiful to watch.
Most of the leading pack has amazing running economy and talk about good form! They made it look so easy 🔥
That's what makes them the leading pack...
Everytime Kipchoge goes for the bottle he doubles the speed..THEN YOU HAVE TO CATCH UP! Great Tactic
He's speeding up to clear the pacers, so he can spot his bottle further out, then he's letting the pacers get back out in front
Mo was really gritting his teeth as he crossed the finish line.
we need to recognise something-
The 2nd placed runner was just SECONDS behind and he's practically an unknown, in his 20s. A YUUUUGE contender.
Unknown to who? He won dubai last year, had won RAK etc hardly an unknown runner.
When your pacer was left behind & you just used the motorcycle as your pacer
Be silent be tough- klipchoge
Great to see the pacers sharing drinks. There really is a brotherhood among the leading runners!!
I have to say whoever put this video together is a genuis, I love it. Thanks mate and God bless 😍
Lmao the white guy who thought he could keep up with them in the beginning. There's always one.
just chillin with the big boys lil bit why not lol
Trying to take good pics from start, later won’t be possible

This is a good short video of the marathon
lmao that guy with pink shorts at the beginning. at least he can say that he can hang with the worlds bests for 3 mins lol
He quits after he checks his wrist watch at 4 minutes...I wonder what he is thinking now....am in awe!!

He stuck with them for the first mile. Not many people can do that. I wonder if he finished the race.
