- Brian Joseph Regan is an American stand-up comedian who uses observational, sarcastic , and self-deprecating humor. His performances are relatively clean as he refrains from profanity and off-color humor. Regan's material typically covers everyday events, such as shipping a package with UPS and a visit to an optometrist. Regan makes frequent references to childhood, including little league baseball, grade school spelling bees, and science projects. Body language and facial expressions make his stand-up act atypically physical. His clean, off-center humor has been praised by critics and contemporaries alike and Regan enjoys a fan base that crosses age groups.
Brian is so creative, he's fantastically funny without ever needing to resort trash. No filth or damage to people's reputations.
This guy has been my favorite comedian since the 1980s.

My wife and I have seen him twice live and he is a fantastic performer. Clean and funny humor. If you ever get the chance to go see him, do so.

Been a Brian Regan fan for decades now. We never miss a show when he's in Denver. The last show we went to was at Denver Paramount and it was the show they taped for Netflix a couple years ago and it was like a completely different side of Brian like we got the backstage version, because he would miss his blocking or where he was and make jokes about that "the editors are going to love me now!" And he'd go off the show jokes and end up rabbit trailing a bunch of on the spot jokes about the show itself and I realized Brian isn't only a stage comedian...he is literally funny 100% of the time off stage and off camera. He's truly talented and hilarious - even just being himself between jokes. He even roasted us - the audience - about how long we laughed after one of the jokes and said that's why we were supposed to come to rehearsals. Lol he's amazing. That was the only show we weren't allowed to film clips of, due to Netflix- but I wish I could have for the parts that weren't shown in the Netflix special. And has never needed to rely on bad language or dirty jokes so we can take our grandkids to his shows and we can all enjoy him. My favorite comedian. ❤
How I would love to see a show of his; I have to see if he ever comes to Maine. His brother Dennis is a screech too.

There is no loss of train of thought. He stops short because the scream was the point of the joke!

This performance, one of many I've viewed, has to be the toughest audience by far; leaving Brian, to carry on in silence. Kudos to Brian!
My favorite comedian! His brother, Dennis, is really funny too!!!
At the six minute mark he completely loses his train of thought. The joke is cut short but most folks don’t notice because of his smooth transition. I love this guys comedy! Brian Regan rocks!
He looks like he is portraying the woman at a loss for words, which makes sense in this joke. How do you know he loses his train of thought?
@@Randsurfer yes but it does seem like he had another line and blanked out.
It’s kinda a toss up, I mean only he would know, but I would think he’s done this set so many times he could do it in his sleep before he gets to the point of filming it for a special. Maybe he has a second line he could do but feels out the audience to see if he should continue with it or not and that’s the pause we see. Who knows?
I could be wrong, but to me it's a joke that just fell flat.
For everyone questioning this. It’s a much longer joke if you’ve seen him live. He definitely lost his train of thought.

Right around the 10:00 mark I think he starts talking about the rewards cards at the register. John Pinette had a similar joke just told differently.

Hypothetical nickels; they're like wooden nickels, but you can't ever see or hold them. It's really a level of technology you can't live without. None of those pine nickels blocking up the kitchen drawer.

Brian seems heavily distracted..or sedated.
Brian is always funny, but he seemed different at this particular show, almost as if he was medicated or something. His pace was off.
Who in their right mind would put the stupid laugh icon on the screen? Who in their right mind would leave it there for years. He posted this video and then forgot about it.
Some his lines give me the best belly laugh…been a fan forever.
