This is great. What about programming it to automatically turn on and off at the same time each day?

Yes, it looks like it has a timer. So that would be cool to see a demo of.
What is the “follow me” button doing if one has a remote temperature sensor?

How do you set the timer function?

Hello! I'm running into an issue with mine where it will heat forever. I have it on auto, I'll set it to 70, and throughout the day it'll go all the way to 80. I can't for the life of my figure it out, please help!

Hi. When we set the heater to 72 degree and the thermostat shows higher (76 for example) it shouldn’t start heating immediately right? We do that, but the heater starts right away and doesn’t wait until temperature drops below 72. Does this mean that we have a faulty system or we are not getting how it works?

Am I correct in my research that I will have to install a whole new HVAC system in order to replace this with a smart thermostat? Everything I am finding on air handlers that use KSACN* is telling me I am screwed for smart thermostats.

Pretty much. I had this t-stat, and installed the 24v module on the fan coil to accept an Ecobee. The problem with that is that you lose the benefit of the system: Variable compressor ability. Ecobee is mostly an on/off controller and still doesn't "communicate" with these systems to maximize efficiency. Pretty ridiculous.

@@drewalexander3814 Efficiency is worthless if you forget to turn the thermostat up to 76 and it's going to be 100 degrees all day while you're at work. That's my main problem.

The worst thermostat I’ve ever used. It is truly an idiotic system.

I was excited when I bought my new home that just had a new AC installed just to learn this is a proprietary thermostat and you'll have to install a REAL HVAC system if you want a smart thermostat. Cheap ass Chinese MIDEA garbage.
