I've been watching Forrest play since he was like 13 years old in the Guitar Center Drum-Offs. He's constantly grown as a player and I can distinctly remember saying to myself "I can't wait to hear him in 10+ years" and now, here we are. Bravo, Forrest! You've exceeded all expectations!
I just saw Covet live last week and was bummed to learn he's longer in the band. He was definitely a highlight and a great solid anchor for the band when I saw them last year.
Just saw them in TO last night and was extremely disappointed, I didn't know about the lineup change until they came out on stage. Yvette is a great guitarist and all, but Covet was a great BAND... Forrest added a level of nuance and complexity that made Covet unique.
Forrest showing us that you don't need 5 toms and 12 cymbals for a masterful performance. 5-piece kit, hats, ride, and 2 crashes. You can do it, kids, practice instead of worrying about your setup.
@@theolenderswainI'm a little confused myself cause that message about him leaving was months and months ago, and at the moment forrest rice is still touring with covet, and the videos of the new songs have him on em. The only thing I see j burd on is their Spotify background
@@pijusfurmaniukas6972 Forrest is not touring the covet at the moment. He announced he was leaving and jburd filled in. She is currently touring with them. All videos coming out with Forrest in are videos that were created before he left.

The secret of life: TIME
WOW yeah hes so smoth yet so technical i love it
Great seeing Forrest still with a smile on his face playing these songs.
I think this was recorded when he was still in the band :(
Covet sounds like my Chon replacement now that they are gone. Thank you.
Well Forrest is gone from Covet so don't get your hopes up
@@aslanlovett4059 yeah, without forrest covet... Hmmm they sound different.
What happened to chon
What up with chon 😢
Oh no no chon?
The sound is brighter than my futur!
True
This mix and his kit sounds sooooo good.
Pure joy on his face - what life is all about.
All smiles and ghostnotes. Amazing work and that kit sounds out of this world!
Man is a damned hero. Drums and attitude in general. Keep on smiling.
Hope we see these hats as a signature model someday.
Wonderful playing. And his joy shows through. And you gotta have that Foundry Reserve Ride!
He plays like he smiles.
Beautiful work! ☀️
Constantly.
Very creative cymbal choke at 1:19!
What an absolute legend.
Forrest is an absolute monster! Discovered him on a David Cola video a couple years ago.
Awesome! Love the grin, goes with the open out-loud playing real nice. Man, are Meinl making great products these days or what?!
He's such a great player. So smooth
Section at 4:28 is so sick! 🔥
... and once Forrest travels back into the 70s they are all in for a big surprise!!

Very tasteful. 😊
Highcymbalgang stay slayin
Great to see some Meinl love for Forrest and Covet, they were one of the few good things I found at the beginning of the pandemic.
Sick.
Creative brilliance homie 🙌💙🎶🥁
I've realized that the realest drummers look the most relaxed, even while playing some mind-blowing stuff. Forrest is one of the realest 😎
this has more to do with style, Eloy Casagrande makes the drums cry and plays a lot
I love this guy Bro!!!
Awesome play through.. guy looks like the singer for seether
Nice!
This is sick 🤘
Well, he looks happy.
Dang you clean af
Ayyyyye, the Meinl Persian rug 🤣

Não sabia que Juninho Afram tocava bateria!.. kkkk
Very cool drummer... Give me five
No disrespect to JBurd but this song will neeeeeever be the same without the smilingest drummy boy playing it.
Bro that feel…
Covet has been dope for awhile.
I think Tama SLP G-Maple 14x7
D🌸PE
