You know it... this guy was absolutely hilarious. Just his expressions had me rolling on the floor at times. I never watched another late night show after he was forced out. I felt he was better than Carson.

Plus, instead of "I'll make an automatic room air deodorizer," or "Let me get started on a universal socket wrench to obsolete a conventional mechanic's socket set," what designer says "By George, I've got it! Let me make a practice golf machine for sitting on the toilet"?? His mind must be a complete row of cabbages 😵☠️
I miss Jay, Kevin, Johnny, Ed, and Doc. Today I'd rather watch paint dry.

I saw a toilet golf set in a thrift store. I literally burst out laughing because of how hard Jay laughed at it.
Leno was awesome! I remember when I was around 9 or 10, staying up with my dad to watch these. Every break my dad would tell me, “last one! Get to sleep!” Those were the days!
This is my go-to for a laugh and pick-me-up.

Jay leno was so funny and did a good job on the way he presented these, and Kevin Eubanks laugh really added to it as well. every one who helped make this show did a great job.
The headline about "Plenty do do here for tourists" would be appropriate for some of our west coast cities today!
Back in the day of the best in entertainment! I miss his shows.
The Harriet Carter merch is always a highlight - the sound enhancers, seaweed soap, driveway screen, but the toilet golf takes the prize!

Today's hacks are like some BAD DRUGS
The toilet golf ad at 5:20 is the hardest I ever heard Jay & Kevin laugh during the Headlines segment.
I think the sustained laughter at the "Toilet Golf" clip is perhaps second only to the "Sis-Boom-Bah" bit from one of Johnny Carson's "Carnac" segment 😂
That toilet golf one kills me. It could be rather embarrassing to have your balls get caught in the sand trap...

5:15 is toilet golf. I saw this when it originally aired, and Jay laughed hysterically a while before revealing the headline as well. I'm sure he had to order it for the kitsch value and still has it in his garage... Hopefully not in his bathroom though.

Me and my roommate used to watch Jay and Dave. We would watch Dave live and then VCR Jay and watch it the following breakfast. I enjoyed his headlines more than Dave's top 10. I also liked his Beyondo, Iron J, a letter to my Russian friend, video calls to President Bush/his Mexican friend/that cult leader who thought there was a spaceship beyond the comet. His best jokes were reserved for Kevin (the band leader -- remember him coming out of a treasure chest?) and John Tesh. Good times! :-)
