It was funny because Blue’s arguments were literally that of the LeZealots that get flamed in these comment sections on the daily. I was having second hand embarrassment for Blue like anytime he suggests there was a “meeting to decide that Jordan was the goat” 🤦🏾♂️ and doesn’t realize how he’s only helping MJ’s case in the long run. LeDeception and his LeMedia flunkies got these guys scrambled in the head! 😆😆🤣🤣🤣
"None of those teams won!" That's the argument. These people are too dumb to realize they didn't win, because the Bulls kept them from winning. This is called being a victim of your own success.
The real crime is most people skip Kobe. People should make Kobe vs LeBron comparisons. Last 10 seconds, that pass would go to Kobe any day over LeBron.
Anybody old enough to have witnessed both Jordan and Lebron's careers, watching their games live and all the playoff games know the deal. As great as Lebron is, he never been on Mike's level. Jordan was a different breed.
Exactly, not even close to the arsenal MJ had, LeBron lowers his shoulder and gets to the rim, Jordan had a complete game including defense and the killer instinct. Not even close!!
Kenny made several valid points. First, when Michael Jordan came to the league, he predicted he would lead the Bulls to several championships. He took his lumps in the beginning, stuck it out and persevered. Second, he didn’t team hop. When Jordan got drafted in 1984, the Bulls hadn’t made the playoffs for 6 of 7 seasons. Jordan led the Bulls to the playoffs his first season and every season after that with NO ALL STAR PLAYERS until Scottie Pippen made the All Star Team in 1990. Third, Jordan Never Lost In The Finals! Never Went To A Game 7 and from 1991 - 1998, he only lost one playoff series. Furthermore, for eight years, from November 7, 1990 until his final shot on June 14, 1998, the Bulls never lost 3 games in a row with Michael Jordan on the team. He holds the NBA record with 626 games played without 3 consecutive losses. What makes this feat even more impressive is that his closest competitor (Steph Curry) trails him by 312 games. That’s Straight Up Goat Sh** Right There!!!
Lumps they were trash and yes I am 51 so I saw it. He never won without Phil, Pippen, and great def rebounder like Grant and Rodman. He Beat no one but Jazz, Suns, and an Old Laker team no Kareem Lakers. He Played 15 years and won 6 championships. Bill Russell is 11 out of 12 how is he the GOAT He is not he best in any statistic.
@@elwoodbarclay1041 You could apply that theory to every player that ever played. Larry Bird never won without Kevin McHale or Robert Parish. Magic Johnson never won without Kareem, Jamal Wilkes or James Worthy. Your lack of knowledge and understanding on how the game of basketball works is astounding. Michael Jordan beat more 60 win teams (7-2) in the playoffs than Kobe Bryant and Lebron James combined. In fact, in 1998 when Jordan’s Bulls beat the (62-20) Utah Jazz for his second 3PEAT, the Jazz had just SWEPT the (61-21) Los Angeles Lakers (4-0), a team that had Kobe Bryant, Robert Horry, Shaquille O’Neal, Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel, Rick Fox and Derek Fisher!!! Jordan also swept a stacked (60-22) Orlando Magic team in the ECF in 1996. That team had Penny Hardaway, Shaquille O’Neal, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant and Dennis Scott.

Kenny Anderson was nice when he came into the league. Loved his game. Why do young ones forget about Magic? The mans got finals MVP as a rookie. The franchise player at the time Kareem was injured, Magic stepping into the centre position in the finals and got 42 pts 15 boards, as a Rookie. That’s some GOAT game right there, as a Rookie!!
This Man caught MJ in his prime 92 93. You take that MJ take away 3 second rule it would be disgusting what he’d do to the league even based off that one rule change.
Love how Mark Jackson and Unc speak about their GOAT without disrespecting other players. Lebron fans can’t ever make a case for Lebron without putting down MJ and Kobe. When you listen to MJ and Kobe talk about their GOATs, they’re always respectful of those who came before them. The Lebron fans and JJ Redick’s of the world always putting down others and it’s so disrespectful.
Exactly, MJ fans love Dr.J, Larry Bird, Magic, Kareem, Jerry West, Bill Russel, the list goes on. LBJ fans sick to their stomach when they talk about KD cause KD did exactly what their king did and succeeded 🤣

It was brilliant marketing on Lebron's part. This narrative forged by James and Clutch Sports (with the media, of course) made it seem obvious that he was better than the other greats and should be compared only to Jordan. It isn't based in reality, of course, but people buy into it. If you take away the longevity, I don't even have Lebron ahead of Bird.
It HAS to be Jordan-LeBron. No one’s accomplished more with less, than Bron. -). Jordan’s the GOAT, who only needed a better coaching system. -). Kobe?! Overrated, playing in stacked teams and for Phil.
The way you lose is just as important as the way you win. If this generation seen the way MJ played / acted in losing games. Always giving 100% on both ends, never shifting blame to coaches and other players. Never flopping and crying to refs while getting beat up in the 80s. Even in losses competing at the highest level, NEVER giving up. They would understand why we hold MJ so high, even in his losing efforts.
Always shaking the Pusstons hands and wishing them luck in the The Finals even though they'd just gotten away with attempted murder of him. Class act all the way.
Yep! For ex: Lebron this year's playoffs: *elbows defender kcp to the ground, bricks last second, wide open game winner. Lebron: to press after game: "First off, I dont know how refs missed so many calls. D'lo got hit right in the face with 2 minutes left..."🤮🤮🤮
@@Big_Nick31 What were the Bulls doing before MJ got there? How about after? And this notion that the Cavs were not trying to build a team around Lebron is BS. He couldn't close games, and then he quit.
Exactly bro. These lbj fans are delusional. They make excuses for him but expect others to win with the bare minimum. Lbj in 2009 and 2010 had the best record in the league plus he was up on Boston 2-1 in 09 or whatever year that was where dan Gilbert accused lbj of quitting. @universityoffree
MJ was outscored only one time in a playoff series, as a rookie by Terry Cummings 29.5 to 29.3 ppg, not once by a teammate. LBJ was outscored 20 times in a playoff series by multiple teammates and opponents. Kobe was outscored by Shaq in every finals series they played together, past the age of 22 by Shaq 2001 WC1, Iverson 2001 finals, Duncan 2002 WCS, Shaq 2002 WCF, KD 2010 WC1, Nowitzki 2011 WCS. It's not close MJ is 🐐
This is one of the more incredible things we've seen!! MJ is also the only all time great to never lose a playoff series as a higher seed, favorite, or with even odds.
Playoff consistency for me is the reason why MJ is GOAT. I'm a millenial, my dad has a full season of tapes of Jordan and when I watched it, I've never seen somebody as consistent as him play. It is very rare for him to get bad games. When it came to playoff consistency nobody came close to Michael Jordan. If you look at his worst playoff performances, he only scored less than 20 six times and his lowest point total was 15. In those games, he shot below 40% only twice. Nobody came close, bar none. In 30 minutes of play during the playoffs, minimum of 80 games: Jordan 15 pts on 41.2%. Scored
I would say another defining trait of Jordan was his ability to artistically make shots, his dunks, his fade always, his lay ups, his passes, his highlight reels blow my mind. I rarely see lebron have plays like this.
The youngster says he spittin' right? Here is the facts. Lebron is behind Kobe, and Kobe behind Jordan...PERIOD! And here is WHY. --- These are 3 guys in the GOAT DEBATE. The greatest is close to perfection in dominance! Jordan is an NCAA Champion (Game winning shot), a 6x NBA champion ( Undefeated in all Finals, with no Game 7's), His last shot ever taken for the Bulls actually was the most important shot of the season, and he made it. What separates This all from LEBRON is : 1984 Jordan Dominated 2 NBA all star teams as a college player before the Olympics, then he dominated and won GOLD. In 1992 He Dominates the world again, and wins GOLD. Undefeated in World Completion. Kobe has some finals Loses, but won 5 NBA titles , and 2 Gold Medals ( Undefeated in World Play). LEBRON HAS PLENTY FINALS LOSSES, HE HAS 2004 OLYMPIC BRONZE, AND 2006 WORLD GAMES BRONZE MEDAL. HE ONLY WON OLYMPIC GOLD WHEN KOBE BRYANT JOINED AS CAPTAIN IN 2008 AND 2012. HE ALWAYS MISSED CLUTCH FREE THROWS WHEN IT WAS TIME TO MEET KOBE IN THE FINALS. JORDAN FACED MAGIC RIGHT? Clearly he(Lebron) cannot be the goat. But he is great. This is what Kenny Anderson knows.
“3 guys in the GOAT DEBATE”…, is ridiculously disrespectful to the all time greats. And I don’t agree that Kobe is in that 3 man mix, because his approach to the game, and the aesthetic mirrored Jordan so much, yet there is no rational argument for him being better. Lebron hate (or love) on social media is the substance of that claim, but it’s not legit. Jordan is the only player that checks all of the boxes if people choose to engage in the debate.
@@ericjones499 I Agree that Jordan checks all the Boxes, thats correct. However. They were debating Jordan, Lebron, and they brought up Kobe. But for the reasons I said about LeBron tallying 2 Bronze medals with his World Games career, Puts him Not Only behind Jordan , but he is behind Kobe also.
Agreed plus Michael has a NCAA championship title when he was only a freshman at the University of North Carolina. He was already a winner before he got to the NBA . Not even close nor a debate and I wish people quit comparing the two. Didn't Michael hit the last shot against Georgetown
Lebron behind Kareem and Magic as well. Had to stack the deck to even get close to their legacies by super teams. "It's also important to me to make the team I'm on now the best. I don't want to go ring-chasing, as I call it; you know, going to a team that's already pretty established and trying to win a ring with them. @@willieworkman9616 There were 15 60-win teams in the 1980’s. There were 19 60 win-teams in the 1990’s. However, two of those seasons were ones in which Jordan only played a total of 17 games due to his nearly two-year long semi-retirement. It’s safe to say that had MJ played those two full seasons the Bulls would have easily won 60 games during each, putting the decade’s total of 60-win teams at 21. But wait, there’s more. The last season of the 1990’s transpired during the NBA lockout in which only 50 games were played that year. Both the Spurs and the Jazz had .740 winning percentages over the course of those 50 games so if we extrapolate from that we see that each of those two teams were on pace to win 61 games, thus putting the 1990’s total of 60 win teams at 23. 1980’s 60-win seasons: 15 1990’s 60-win seasons: 23 1980’s: 5 different teams reached the 60-win threshold (Lakers, Celtics, Sixers, Pistons, Bucks) 1990’s: 10 different teams reached the 60-win threshold (Bulls, Jazz, Lakers, Blazers, Suns, Sonics, Spurs, Heat, Magic, & Knicks) So, this fanciful notion that the 1990’s was “watered down” is factually incorrect. The 1980’s had more dynasties but the 1990’s created 35% more 60-win teams thus proving that the latter decade was _top to bottom_ the more competitive era in which to play. And providing his league with more parity is exactly what Stern et. al were attempting to do by instituting the expansion era. It worked. Sidebar: Of the fifteen different 60-win seasons of the 1980’s a whopping 12 of them were put up by either the Celtics or the Lakers. As stated above the only other teams of the decade to reach the 60-win plateau were the ‘76ers, the Bucks, and the Pistons, all of whom did it once each. Not exactly a very well-balanced talent pool, eh?
LeBron teamed up with other superstars *in their primes* to try to win easy rings. No other superstar NBA player in the history of the game ever did that. And for that reason alone, he should be excluded from any GOAT debate.
I didn't grow up watching jordan but cmon that man played all 82 games for 9 seasons, Defensive player of the year, 5 time MVP, 10 Scoring titles , 6 finals wins, two 3 peats, and never went to a game 7 in the finals. Averaged 30 points per game for his whole career. 3 steals titles its not even a debate he is the goat. If he didn't retire to play baseball he would've had 8 rings, 6 MVPs, and possibly another scoring title.

The conversation is Lebron versus Kareem or maybe Kobe. Michael is in another universe. You can’t battle Mike when you have a meltdown in the finals. Especially when your on a super team that was up against an older Kidd and one superstar in Dirk. That GOAT conversation or aspirations died in 2011.
Just ask a millennial. Millennials are able to bridge the gap between jordan, kobe, and lebron. Millennials that were born between 1981-1988 have a very unique view. Raised in the 90s, came of age in the 2000s parents around 2007.

I've witnessed Bird, Magic, Jordan, Kobe etc entire career & I can easily say Lebron is the most complete player in NBA history. The problem with MJ fans is that they never acknowledge his failures & the fact that P. Jackson had to teach him how to become a winner & he did the same for Kobe.
@@billbangz LeBron can't be the most complete player when he needs to assemble superteams to help give him the edge and the confidence to compete vs his competition. Con Queen with MJ ghost dreams and Monistat vaginal schemes of super-teams. Those of us old enough to have seen MJ know the gap between them is as wide as Michael Strahan's. MJ's athleticism was raw as clapped cheeks without jim hats. He also possessed the impeccable fundamentals taught to him by a highly-esteemed Univ. dean and he had the maniacal mental of killers in serial. I also witnessed Mark Jackson ball in person and he's one the purest point-guards to have ever stepped foot on the court. He brought havoc of Prodigy on a Mobb Deep beat. His handles were nasty as Shaq's feet. And in bunches he dropped dimes like Frank Lucas snitches.
All this MJ/Lebron talk. Honestly, Lebron is not better than Magic. Number's don't tell the story. Magic didn't play for numbers but he controlled the whole pace of the game. And if I needed a bucket in a tight situation, I would rather Magic in the post with a baby sky than counting on Lebron. But Lebron is making a great longevity case.
Let's think about this for a minute. Which basketball player would be more intimidated by the other in a one on one game? King James or His Airness? MJ is already up 5 points the second he laces up his shoes.
Jordan got swept 1st round until he got Pippen, Lebron took his team to the finals. Jordan also had to agree to let a sworn enemy D. Rodman join the Bulls because P. Jackson told him that they wouldn't get past Orlando in 96' without him. If your going to tell the story, tell the Whole Story...
@@billbangzBut the thing is while yes Pippen was on the team when Jordan got past the first round he wasn’t really the reason for it. Remember it was Pippen’s rookie season and he was a bench player averaging 10 ppg, Jordan was averaging 45 ppg. That’s like saying LeBron couldn’t make the playoffs until he got Larry Hughes. Plus when it came to Rodman the Bulls needed a pf the only available choice was Rodman, the Spurs had him and wanted to get rid of him and no other team wanted him because he was seen as a problem. That’s why they made a play for Rodman, all they did was ask Jordan if he could play with him

That just revealed these young people have some very silly and unintelligible concepts of what is good and what isn't. It's hilarious how they try any concept to say Bron is on Jordan level. Lol
I remember the tape delayed Willis Reed game 7, yes I’m 62 years young. Around my way we liked watching the ABA more, more offense, and more exciting. Never liked the Celtics, because they always won. At this stage in my life, I don’t even debate any 🐐talk, at all. I’ve been blessed to watch a lot of basketball and great players. IMO any NBA player is great relative to the number of D1 colleges compared to NBA rosters; very tiny, small percentage. As I said earlier if you’re a player in the NBA you are great, but to be talked about years after the laces have rotted, you have to be LEGENDARY!!! That Mount Rushmore talk, that man that causes nightmares for opponents. That man that causes your kid to snicker behind your back due to the torture he put you through. I’ll close with this, #23 whose statue resides at 1901 W. Madison St. is the MOST complete basketball player I can recall watching from 1970 until present 💯.
When your own teammates are scared of you, just by the amount of winning desire you have, you feel like radioactive on a basketball court (the "glow" stuff...). There's nobody to compare Jordan to in all of sports. Not just basketball. Not a physical abilities debate. It's more of a mentality debate. That's what makes you great in your specific sport.
When he told his mom he didn't think Jordan was the goat and for her to laugh at him speaks volumes. Especially when she doesn't really watch.... It's like one of those undeniable facts. You just already know
I watched basketball over 50 years. MJ is the absolute goat, exceptional athlete, no weakness, killer instinct, most competitive athlete, biggest heart, best closer, very clutch, most fundamentally sound, most feared, defense is good as offense, most complete player i have ever seen, best winner, hardest worker.
Love Kenny & Mark, times are different! Love Michael, he stayed with one time, Lebron was allowed to pick his team. It is difficult to win playing with a set of different players and teams, he did it! Also, Jordan & Lebron come from different backgrounds, Bron being the only child, raised by his mother and the hood, makes a huge different! Michael is an introvert and Lebron is extrovert!
Jordan stayed with the Bulls team for the bulk of his career, and consistently brought it every night. usually in the highlight reels shows him scoring scoring scoring… But he is the complete package. There might’ve been an evening. He had an off night, and still was great !! If you watched the early Bulls games, Michael had a lot of assists (actually may have had some triple doubles, in his championship games against the Lakers in 91)… Great passer/court vision. Jordan was obsessed with winning… he was an assassin! That man did not choke!
Rules changes have helped Lebron and many other players of today. As far as Lebron goes, he has holes in his game that no other greatest ever candidate should still have this late in his career, especially at his respective position.
When everyone who’s watched both MJ and LBJ play and still pick Jordan as the goat, that says something. When everyone who’s played against both MJ and LBJ and still picked Jordan, that says something even more! Only the youngsters who have never watched MJ play aside for a few youtube highlight reels would pick Lebron.

The real crime is the disrespect Jordan's opponents get. Pistons, Knicks, Heat, Sun, Sonics, Jazz, Magic. All had FANTASTIC teams.
"None of those teams won!"
That's the argument.

Nicely said!
Exactly! Also, for the younger generation that didn't witness MJ in real time don't get it. You had to be there.

@@elwoodbarclay1041
You could apply that theory to every player that ever played.

In 30 minutes of play during the playoffs, minimum of 80 games:
Jordan 15 pts on 41.2%. Scored
it's funny your goat could never beat larry bird and lets not start about bill russell ;-)
that is in the playoffs, still it says 17-11 for bird
I would say another defining trait of Jordan was his ability to artistically make shots, his dunks, his fade always, his lay ups, his passes, his highlight reels blow my mind. I rarely see lebron have plays like this.
Jordan never lost any title game ever. Goat 🐐
No sweep. No game 7.

@@willieworkman9616 yeah OR
the league was watered down when lebalco won back to back in miami
same thing
1980’s 60-win seasons: 15
1990’s 60-win seasons: 23
1980’s: 5 different teams reached the 60-win threshold (Lakers, Celtics, Sixers, Pistons, Bucks)
1990’s: 10 different teams reached the 60-win threshold (Bulls, Jazz, Lakers, Blazers, Suns, Sonics, Spurs, Heat, Magic, & Knicks)
So, this fanciful notion that the 1990’s was “watered down” is factually incorrect.
No other superstar NBA player
in the history of the game ever did that.

The fact that youngster seriously had to ask if mj could go left shows how much he knows and how easily influenced he is😂
to me, only those who are old enough to have seen both jordan and lebron play (80s to present) can make proper judgment as to who is better.

Kobe aint on that level
no, even i think LeBron vs IT is not deserved

Just ask a millennial.
Millennials are able to bridge the gap between jordan, kobe, and lebron.
Millennials that were born between 1981-1988 have a very unique view.
Raised in the 90s, came of age in the 2000s parents around 2007.
This millennial says MJ & Kobe top 2. LeBron ain’t in the conversation for 2.
Born in ‘86 Jordan is still the GOAT

We saw Kobe vs Lebron 1 on 1 plenty of times. And Kobe got the best of Lebron on the offensive and the defensive end, although Kobe was much smaller than Lebron. Jordan bullied Kobe most of the time when they went 1 on 1.
Karl Malone and Gary Payton were old Karl Malone retired right after that

I've witnessed Bird, Magic, Jordan, Kobe etc entire career & I can easily say Lebron is the most complete player in NBA history. The problem with MJ fans is that they never acknowledge his failures & the fact that P. Jackson had to teach him how to become a winner & he did the same for Kobe.
@@billbangz damn an OG saying the real!
@@billbangz LeBron can't be the most complete player when he needs to assemble superteams to help give him the edge and the confidence to compete vs his competition. Jordan, Bird, and Magic, didn't need to do that. And If you truly watched those greats as you say, you'd know ALL three of them had a clutch gene late in big games that LeBron doesn't have. It’s really hard to judge based on the eye test because I saw both of their entire careers and agree with Mark. That said, the higher LeBron‘s numbers went up the more I struggled trying to find reasons to stay with MJ until I saw this RUclips video From a guy who researched them thoroughly and did a 30 minute video comparing their shot selections and all of their analytics and all of their awards and after that video it’s just no question. if he’s gonna argue LeBron he should have to see that video first and then he could try still argue it afterward if he wants.
Karl Malone and Gary Payton was old as dirt when they came to the Lakers. Their skill set wasn't the same.

LeBron definitely more of Magic with a jumper and more athletic.

LeBron James had to leave one team to stack another team to win. MJ team went from horrible to champions
Give credit to the Bulls and Lakers organizations for building around Kobe & Mike.
Yeah after he got pippen. All facts no bs.
Front offices matter....
That’s why they made a play for Rodman, all they did was ask Jordan if he could play with him
He said Andrew Bynum was a great player lol Bynum averaged 6 ppg in the 2009 playoffs and 8 ppg in the 2010 playoffs, that's a great player? 😅😅😅😅 Then he said he's spitting 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

I laughed so hard that that young dude sound so lost and confused. He actually said Pau Gasol and Bynum made a super team.
This dude is completely lost
A professional basketball player is lost in your expert couch opinion
You had to see Jordan play to believe it; the man was simply incredible. No one, and I mean no one is touching him, word up!!
Man I will cook boy in a matter of minutes 😂😂😂
When he told his mom he didn't think Jordan was the goat and for her to laugh at him speaks volumes. Especially when she doesn't really watch.... It's like one of those undeniable facts. You just already know
Mom was clutch for that 😆 🤣 😂
I watched basketball over 50 years. MJ is the absolute goat, exceptional athlete, no weakness, killer instinct, most competitive athlete, biggest heart, best closer, very clutch, most fundamentally sound, most feared, defense is good as offense, most complete player i have ever seen, best winner, hardest worker.
Tell him kenny Anderson facts. Its not closed young guy Jordan 100 facts.
“Can he go left?” 😂✊🏼
C’mon. Even his mom laughed at him! Lol
JUST LOOK AT THE GAME PLAYS PER PERSON AN DOMINATION!!!!!!
I totally agree with the Magic comparison...
