  • Well that didn't go to plan, I thought I'd taken enough pressure off the system but there was still some water left behind it! After that I had a good few breakdowns to get through which was fun. Hope you all enjoy the video!
As always, thank you all for supporting the channel, I appreciate it!

Spot on with that Baxi…I think at start you knew it was hex but didn’t want it to be, I would of been same trying everything, passing it to manufacturers can feel like throwing work away but it’s what’s best for customer and long term that will pay you back 10 times over mate 🙌👍

    Shame
That plug on the heat ex didn’t work :( but I’d of done the same, advising them to get a one off repair. You did the right thing buddy.

I don't think I've ever came across a leaking blank plug on the DuoTec/Promax HEX that wasn't a burst heat exchanger. Unfortunate as they're a great boiler and customers usually want to rip it out for a new boiler

Why do people not clear around the boiler in advance of engineer visit, is just common courtesy. That last one they could have unscrewed that woodwork. I would.

Had an ok week apart from an extremely obnoxious customer, he said his dog was very calm and friendly, but when I tapped on the living room door his dog went absolutely mental, he then left me a really bad review saying that I was trying to get out of his house as quickly as possible, yes I bloody was because I didn’t want to get eaten alive by his dog, he said I didn’t check any of his radiators which I did apart from the one where he kept his dog, not a big issue but it pissed me off because I do my absolute best to do everything I can to make customers happy, annoying but no big deal I guess 😂😂😂

Ah mate that's frustrating! I don't mind dogs as long as they're friendly, but then again it's an animal so you don't know what it's thinking, especially if you're a stranger in it's home!

@@cputilitysolutions what annoyed me the most was that he gave me 4 out of ten purely because I made his dog bark and didn’t even consider the work I had done for him, I could instantly tell he was an arse hole the second I met him, a day in the life of a gas engineer I suppose 😂😂😂
