Anyone remember in the 80's when Burger King tried table top service? The tables had table cloths, and the waiter would bring a bowl of popcorn for you to eat while you waited for your order. They also sold fried shrimp too.

I don't remember any popcorn, but I do remember when BK gave out paper crowns to kids. They should bring back the paper crowns. They cost almost nothing and kids liked them.
Our family ate at that UFO McDonalds in Roswell. There are lots of interesting McD’s. In St. Louis, we ate at one in a riverboat floating on the Mississippi River. We also dined in one that was two stories of arcade type games interspersed with life-size dioramas of local plants and wildlife, it was somewhere in Florida, I think in or near Orlando, kids didn’t want to leave that one. Then there was the odd one in North Carolina…

A few of the Starbucks here in our country also have beautifully designed shops. The branches in Twin lakes and Domicillo Design Hotel Tagaytay is probably the most scenic of them.
There is an amazing Hawaiian themed Chick-Fil-A in Fayetteville, Georgia. It is beautiful, and has a Hawaiian themed menu. It’s really cool! I love your channel btw. Oh, and one thing. It’s Hel-sing-kee Finland. Lol.
I have been in a fancy Burger King. My son who was 4 at the time would only eat Burger King or KFC when we traveled abroad. We ate at an stunning BK in Vienna during a hot summer. All of us ended up going to BK as our regular place and to cool off from the hot sun on our trip. I also went to the SB in Amsterdam. I want to check out the pizza hut in Giza. It wasn't there the last time I went about 12 yrs ago.

Having travelled extensively, it’s pretty clear that the worst fast food standard restaurants are in the USA and the UK - both in terms of the physical space and the food/drinks.
I'd have to disagree, in Italy the McDonald's I went to was pretty dirty, it was the same on the French Riviera, specifically in Cannes. At a McDonald's in Japan everything was amazingly clean and the food was well prepared They had a few things on the menu that you'd never see in an American McDonald's.
I've been to about six cities in China, I only ate at McDonald's once in Beijing, I ate two french fries and almost threw up, I believe the oil had gone rancid, No one in my group of eight people would eat the fries as they all agreed with me that it must be rancid Greece, I couldn't eat anything after those two fries, One of my travel companions ate the burger that I got. In or near London, It could have been Paddington or one of the other areas, the McDonald's seemed pretty average to me. Canada also seemed pretty average, I'm from America and I've been to really nice McDonald's I've also been to not so nice McDonald's, there can be a very big difference between them. I don't think that it's an America or UK thing, I think it's more of a store level management issue, for cleanliness and products quality.

The HK Mickey D’s… I go there for meals now and then as it is near by where I work. It’s not really what this video describes. It is nice but it is still a McDonald’s. The cream cheese topped drinks are seasonal…

You should add the the first Italian Starbucks situated in a historic building in Milan. From this branch they serve only italian style coffee, panini and sweets but no frappe… but of course they serve frappes on other small branches in the city. Inside the iconic starbucks you can drink your coffee while watching how they roast the coffee beans and the packaging… in short a small factory inside.

I've been to this McDonald's a couple of times. It's a 29,135-square-foot restaurant that spans the Will Rogers Turnpike section of Interstate I-44 near Vinita, Oklahoma. It is notable as the first bridge restaurant in the world and as an example of a U.S. roadside restaurant. It was the world's largest McDonald's before the current largest McDonald's in the world located in Orlando, Florida was built.
It shares the space with a Phillips 66 gas station.
The building and service plaza closed on June 4, 2013, for a $14.6 million renovation. At its grand reopening on December 22, 2014, it was renamed from "Glass House Restaurant" to "Will Rogers Archway".
At the front of the west anchor stands a statue of Will Rogers. The restaurant contains a small Will Rogers museum.

Many years ago, my family went to a Mac Donald's on the Mississippi riverfront around the Gateway Arch. It was located on a riverboat and it was packed. It was the first time I had ever been on a riverboat.
This was great, not sure which one I would want to visit but just a thought to add The oldest McDonald's restaurant is a drive-up hamburger stand at 10207 Lakewood Boulevard at Florence Avenue in Downey, California. as the last standing original McDonalds

here in Japan more and more restaurants have been using tablets to make your order inside the restaurant instead of waiting for a waiter. but some seemingly normal restaurant we visited last year and didn't go to until a couple of months ago, upgraded the tablet order with robot waiters. we did take a short video and a picture of the robot waiter (although the video was bad the pic is very good), and the restaurant name is Gusto, it is in Ise city, Mie prefecture in Japan. i did find the robot waiters store online though, and they seem to be pretty intelligent as a simple robot can be, a lot of advanced features built in and they behave like cats LOL

I'm not sure its in this style, but when I was in Durango, Colorado there is a McDonald's that, not wishing to stick out like a sore thumb, was built in the Victorian style. Since Mikey D's is right next-door to a narrow-gauge rail-yard, (belonging to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge RailRoad) they are in a building that is as much of a tourist attraction as the railroad!

The burger palace is literally fancier than a whole museum
In San Diego, specifically the Del Mar area, there was a McDonald's that was very fancy.
You could go to registers that had all the standard items or step around the corner of the counter to a second counter only this one was made of marble and there you could order from the McCafé, The McCafe had pastas and soups It was my mother's absolute favorite place to go for lobster bisque. Everything you ordered there was served on fine China with metal utensils and cloth napkins. The whole dining room was done in an Italian style with marble columns and really nice tables and booths with marble table tops, The boots were done with a nice leather instead of the plastic that they usually are. A side note was that you could order anything from the regular restaurant at the Cafe location as well as long as you were ordering something specifically from the cafe like gelato. If you ordered from the cafe it's still all came out on the fine China you'd have your Big Mac and fries laid out on it and they'd always put a garnish on there like you would it any nice restaurant, that gelato was to die for!
Most people didn't understand the two counters, the McCafe was never busy. Because of the lack of customers the McCafe shut down about 8 years ago.
I moved from San Diego a couple years ago so I don't know if it's still fancy Italian decor,, As of two years when I moved from San Diego the interior had not changed It was just as fancy as ever. If you're ever in the del Mar area of San Diego and want to take a look exit the I-5 at del Mar heights road and head east for about 2 miles.
