I just picked up Veteran Guardsmen and finally finished painting them when this nerf came out lol :'( Never got to play them at full strength. But on the bright side, I just found your channel and am really enjoying your advice and your presentation! Also I recently got the Inquisition Team, and would love to hear your updated advice on them since the rule change of only being allowed to bring 2 operatives with AP2 has come into effect.
Glad the videos were of help! Inquisition is a team I've dropped, unfortunately - I found their 4+ shooting with limited consistency for rerolls a bit tricky to play with.

I played vet guard for the first time last night against beastmen. They played for points but i just wanted to learn my army. I absolutely slaughtered him. He won on points but as soon as he popped on an objective pew pew. One frenzied beast. The zealots and take aim rocked it.
Is there any way to have an updated rule book, with all the changes? I'm new in a hobby, and something telling me that rulebook included with starter set are no longer valid 😅
that's how I play pathfinders! My shooting is the best, so be on engage TP1 nearly everyone gets an engage token, sprints up with montka to get shots or objectives.
The biggest nerf is tte demo vet, once per game i think it's a bit too much. Dropping blast radius and can't blow things through walls is warranted but once per game? Too much IMO

Just won a local tournament with nerfed Vet Guard so like... don't be discouraged by these nerfs, they're literally fine.
