But Todd La Torre doesn't just sound like Geoff Tate, he rips off Tate's unique and signature vocal style. And that just makes him a cheap imitation.

This is pretty good, I don't think anyone other than Geoff in his heyday could sing this live so I'm still very impressed by this and at least it gives younger people a chance to see them live at a decent quality :)
I know it's not the old Queesryche, but it is good Metal, and it's keeping Metal alive. I got to see them a few years ago, and they did a GREAT job. Kinda wish Todd would still do the Crimson Glory thing too

Turned on by a friend to queensryche with rage for order in late 80's,then got the warning,for years later could not listen to much else until images and words came out.Operation and Empire were great but don't know what happened after that,don't know what spell they were under with warning and rage but never got back.Can't tell if it's just Wilton left,doesn't look like Rockenfield on drums but singer and guitarist do great job.

Body Mechanics Listen to the band in the last years with Tate. Their tuning was a note lower than in the original recordings. Cause Tate didn’t reach the high notes. Today they play the songs again in the original tuning and Todd gets them. Impossible with Tate today. You should mention that.
Really always heard that he was a nice humble guy in person but I do admit he sounds really rough here but ive heard some pretty good performances from him over his time as the frontman of the Ryche.
2 amazing singers that people have had to step in and fill their shoes. Geoff Tate and Layne Staley. And I cannot believe how many haters are out there because Duval does a really amazing job with Alice in Chains. In this lineup of Queensryche does an amazing job paying tribute to the original Queensryche. All you haters, why don't you put up videos of what you got going on.
I respect Duval, but he doesn't fill Lane's shoes he gives Alice in Chains a different feeling, it's still quality but Duval can never match that haunted quality Lane brought to the table with his vocal harmonies with Cantrell. Duval works well with Cantrell, he has definitively helped Co Lead AiC into a new era for the band it's like trying to compare Roth with Hagar which were both great periods for Van Halen in my opinion.
