- Tyranids got an update and here is the Crusher stampede Detachment! Here's the List:

Winged prime and trygon looks like a great call! Found this crusher list online from one of the tourneys

I'm guessing multiple Flyrants becomes a bit of diminishing returns, and that they are too flimsy when exposed (and the ambiguous LOS wordings). Still expensive in points for what they bring. I'd love to be proven wrong and would be great to see them used in a battle report! But I think we probably still need to be able to survive on the middle objectives to get the game winning points, either through resilience or redundancy.
I saw a guy that has a 7-1 record with this (no idea of the quality of opponents):
-1 Winged Prime (because you need a character) and he gives synaps to Trygon to have S10
-3 Maleceptors
-3 Haruspex
-3 Exocrine
-3 Screamer Killer
-1 Trygon for mission and scoring in enemy DZ
-1 Pyrovore to hold the home objective
Put Maleceptors with Haruspexes and Screamer Killers everywhere, many opponents can't deal with it. And while damage output is still shit, enough of it can work. Overwhelm them with all good to okayish datasheets we have for the cost now.
I feel like Norn Assimilators are quite spicy in Crusher, staged behind a ruin ready to burst through and smash something to pieces. If only a bit cheaper.
@@TheBlightspawn considering I'm going back and forth between playing the crusher stampede or the triple norn synaptic nexus in a 110 person major this weekend maybe I just play an assimilator in crusher and call it a compromise

Where is the line of sight to the base rule located?
Not sure what you mean by Winged Hive Tyrants not being able to be seen. Even if it's wing is poking out from behind a ruin it can be targeted (I think). If not, can you let me know where I can find those rules please? Cheers.
@@neworecneps core rule changes under ruins and visibility says models with overhanging bits measure only to the base for visibility but it contradicts with visibility later on so I could be wrong. Just dumb and everything should always be done with bases in my opinion but I'm not GW.
@@deviousdonut I think you're looking at the section for deciding if models are counted as in ruins, doesn't have anything to do with visibility I'm afraid. It's certainly not being played like your interpretation in any tournaments and I think it invalidates your list and the winged Hive tyrants get picked off pretty easily still.

@@neworecneps yeah can still potentially get away with the list but now it's dependent on the ruins filling in the pariah nexus shapes which is super annoying and inconsistent
