The memories of MADDEN. From 91 on up some I dislike after I got older but 92 & 93 were the best to me because my Unc use to let me & my older brother play his SEGA Genesis. He'd make rules to make us better at the game like you can only spin 3x in one offensive play lol. 😢 man I miss my Unc RIP 🙏🏾 those were the days. 10yrs old at the time now I'm 39 lol. Nothing but good memories associated with Madden game.

It’s crazy how amazing we always thought the graphics were every time a new Madden came out. As far as gameplay enjoyment, still don’t think compares to Sega genesis Joe Montana football.

I wish the new Madden games could put classic teams in still. It would be so fun to play with the 97-98 Broncos in Madden 12 since the Broncos are terrible now.
This game is better than Madden 2017 ..... I think the one thing that bugged me about this game was the fact that when you won the Super-Bowl your team had no celebration, it was like nothing just another game.... would it have been that hard for EA to put in a Super-Bowl celebration ? nothing eleborate, just SOMETHING....
What would possibly make somebody think that this is better than the modern day games? I bought this the first day it was our and quite frankly, it didn't live up to my expectations. And re-living that through this video reminds me of that disappointment. Today's games are so real looking.

GAME PLAY!! it’s the way these older Madden games played, the way the players moved, the way the game engine was, smoother, better logic, better tackling, better cutting, better running, better franchise mode.... If you started a franchise you had training camp, could improve players with actual gameplay to improve stats... Today’s Madden games might graphically look better but that’s where it ends, older Madden games were better in every way when it comes to actually gameplay ...
The graphics blew the ps1 sooo out the box and bad with NO EXPANSION PACK either. Imagine if the n64 version used the expansion pack and used the MUSYX CHIP ftom factor 5 for the commentary and surround sound audience it would have obliterated the ps1 and bad
How do you kick a field goal in madden 99 for 64? I know this is a dumb question, and you might be able to help me out. I haven't played 64 in years, and recently got back to it, and I can't figure out how to kick a damn field goal. I even pick the field goal formation, but it turns into a play, and will not let me kick the field goal. I don't even do a fake field goal formation either. I can score touch downs pretty good and play defense but I suck at field goals.
I love seeing these comments saying this is the best madden, get over it, it isn't it's fun but it's not the best that reward *My opinion* goes to madden sixtee-*gets killed* but really 16 deserves it because of how much u can do there are probably other maddens where u can do more but I gotta say draft champions is probably the best game mode
you can't compare the other old madden's to 16...because they were pretty much just the best maddens of it's time and they weren't next gen's...so every madden is the best tbh.
I can pretty much bet that the reason they didn't put this on Genesis/SNES was because by that point everybody has been done with 4th gen consoles already.
