Just got back inro 3d printing with a bambu x1 and was just thinking about getting my old chiron working again as well. I had tried to upgrade it to a duet board way back when. Will be watching this klipper upgrade with interest!
Regarding the original mainboard pretty much being an Arduino, most mainboards back in the day were just Genuino Arduino with a RAMPS shield for 3D printing - so these are just Arduino with a forever attached shield.
Thanks 👍 for the update ❤❤

Part 3 and 4 will be worth the wait 😀😀

I stand mistaken, the Kobra max uses a large, single Y axis motor with a dual shaft connection, running on two belts. I feel so ashamed 😢🤷♂️
Let's go!!
Bout time, where ya been?
Where haven't I?! 😆😆

I’m planning on doing something like this myself, do you plan on releasing the control board bracket file?
Yes, I just have to remember to upload it next time I turn on my computer
Any update?
