Shit is so inspirational. Finally someone showing me the truth showing me the process not just trying to snag my attention and sell something appreciate you man. You have no idea how much you've helped me
Now I need a celebration dance compilation video so I can learn those moves from you as well. Congratulations in your all the progress you are making! You are truly inspiring. Keep the hard work!
Put on 7lbs in the last month following your workout plan and eating a whole foods, animal based diet. I'm 30 and already the most fit I've ever been! You're a huge inspiration for us skinny guys man appreciate the content.
You're an inspiration! Your videos are so honest. It's a struggle to achieve these goals but so many influencers make it look easy and don't show the hard work and determination that really goes on to achieve these skills. Thanks for your content
I would suggest anyone trying to handstand to do it slowly, rather than kicking your legs up hard. Place your hands bring your whole weight forward on your wrists engage your scapula and try to bring legs up slowly. This massively improved my handstands.
Maybe ur right but I think different techniques and methods will suit different people in acc. to their body. For example, for the most part when I am able to hold the handstand, I didn't give a thought to whether slowly or rapidly raise my legs. Whenever I gave a thought, I would just end up back on floor. So not thinking about it worked for me. Similarly, for someone else, something else might work.
@@ordinaryguy5332it's a lot more objective than you think, people should master floor pike pushups, then master decline pike pushups, then master wall assisted handstands chest facing the wall, then master back facing the wall, THEN you should be trying to practice free handstand, anyone can randomly pour their time in but only those with perfectly efficient training who focus on specificity are the ones with the best results
You deserve more subs man. You're a really good, honest and inspiring content creator and I wish you all the best on your RUclips journey. You're going to make it big! 💪
hey bro! remember me i was watching your channel since it was about 1k subscribers i started practicing handstand after watching some of your videos i got motivation to do after watching and learning them and now i can do a free standing handstand for 5 seconds and a one arm handstand against the wall for about the same time
Wow, thank you so much for this video!!! ❤ Handstand has been my biggest dream for around 2 years now and I've attempted training for it a couple of times but, uh, after not succeeding within a month or two I thought that maybe I'm simply not made for it, maybe it's not something all women can do 😅 .. This video showed me that even people with a good physique might be struggling with certain movements at first and need to put in a lot of work to achieve the results they want. Knowing that you were able to hit your end goal in 200+ days puts me a bit more at ease because some things just take time...and I will now be aiming at a minimum of 6-12 months training for my goal too. Thank you so much for giving me hope that I can do it 💪
You can do more than you think.. just believe! So inspiring Colin! Believe me.. these videos showing how hard you try.. how you persevere and remain consistent are so very helpful.. My guys love your vids because they are honest.. encouraging.. and show just how difficult it is to accomplish these moves.. And you with 6 feet 3 inches and long legs to maneuver makes these moves even more difficult .. and yet you are patient and show it can be done with persistence.. consistence .. and a whole lot of courage :) 🤗 Btw.. please be extra careful doing those pushup handstands.. concerns me you might get a concussion! Also using a book on a ganglion can work.. but can also fracture the fine bones in your hand.. please be careful.. So proud of you for working so hard to help other guys get where they want to go..Colin you are truly awesome.. so keep it going:) Jen999💙
@@colinmurrayYT You are welcome Colin.. as are each of your videos.. all of us here respect and support you always.. we believe in you and what you are doing.. keep consistent and keep it going! 🤗 Jenn999💙
Damn i can so relate to the struggle in this video. For me it's been like 4-6 month now, grinding my azz off and slowly but surely making progress. Very inspiring watching you progress and grind your way through all the failures ect.
I'd recommend taking decent rests between attempts. If you fail a kick-up, don't continue, recompose for a couple mins. Also, if your elbows fall back, so no longer stacked on the wrists, you are moving in the wrong path and it is impossible. Finally, the main thing I focus on when doing a successful hspu is pushing the ground, I focus very little on the rest of the body, it made a big difference changing my focus.
It took me a while to understand about the forward lean descent eccentric phase of the movement. But it is in fact to hunch the shoulders forward into protraction = Upper back rounding internal rotation of the elbow pits towards each other and that is what pushes the weight forward past the fingers hands the weight shall at all time be in the fingers backside of knuckle area. But that is how it made mine freestanding hspu more consistent
Nice. Time period was pretty good too, considering you really came from not being able to do anything. Time to train the pancake and do press to handstand!
can you share like a complete day in your life during this journey. I want to know how much time you gave to doing this in addition to your daily workout and how u managed that. How long you trained on this per day or per week.
Sick dance moves! Also, is that a little screwdriver earring? I always thought it was a cross but it kinda looks like a phillips-head lol. And as always, great video!
Holding a handstand all fluid and control is my primary physical goal - how long did it take you to get to that and do you have any advice for not flopping off to the side? I'm noticing inconsistency in my "launch" technique I'd guess Appreciate the journey vid though, definitely helps with the motivation my guy
@@maurodpel yeah I definitelty agree especially since energy isn't lost on bad kick up attempts. Do you notice chest to wall being more beneficial than back to wall?
Both are good but chest to wall is better for correcting the "banana hs", since your all stacked close to a wall that is going to help you to understand how your body needs to be straight fron head to toes. It's a little bit more difficult than btw but definetely worth it.
I’m doing the same thing right now, been going about 2 months. I get shoulder pain sometimes after I train handstand push-ups. Did you have that and did you have any sort of stretching routine for your shoulders?

@mobilelegendff6965 yea I can hold it for 10 seconds

Great video. The fact you kept going and didn't quit is the biggest achievement. You seem tall too which makes it more difficult.
Im still stuck on the handstand part. Hardwood floors and a small apartment are making it painful lol. Really cool to watch the progression
