- In this video I talk about some of the things you should consider before doing a muffler delete on your car. I had a muffler delete on this Mustang for about 6 months so I thought I should share my experience.

We didnt mess w the catalytic converters which is where i think the problems are normally. And no, no check engine light. Hope this helps. Have a blessed day !!

Got a 2013 5.0, long tubes running into a catless/mufflerless H pipe.. been that way for 2 yrs luckily no police have bothered me

It’s the Raxiom Gen5 Tail Lights. And not sure about the deck lid panel.

It depends sometimes people think it does. but really it would be more loud than good in my opinion. Everyone has different thoughts on it tho... hope this helps have a nice day :)
Btw I just got my muffler deleted on my 09 mustang it sounds good should I add a exhaust tip

Just the one rear muffler, thats it.
What happens if you take the muffler off and just leave it off no further fabrication?
9 months late but if you leave it off without adding new pipe, the exhaust will cut off underneath the car causing more interior noise. Another thing, while unlikely, could burn any nearby heat sensitive objects
@firehalwkchipdip have had it cut off since the comment was made have had 0 issues with it no burnt wire just alot of interior drone and a louder car 🙏
@@hadesshellman2840 good news, engineers typically try to avoid putting heat sensitive stuff next to the exhaust but ford has made bigger mistakes before lol

I've heard hundreds of modified V6 exhaust systems, and despite what the owners say about "you should hear mine, it sounds just like a V8, it doesn't. It sounds like crap. Period. It's simply loud obnoxious, does nothing for performance, and just seems like a demand for attention. It also makes for bad neighbor relations.

What do you think about a cherry bomb
I don’t know much about cherry bomb mufflers but I have heard they are EXTREMELY loud. I knew one guy that had one and he said it was crazy. I don’t understand why necessarily because usually those products have a muffler on them so im assuming a straight pipe or cutting mufflers off would be louder but I could be wrong. I would only buy it if you want something very very loud. Thanks for the comment boss!

@@NLM found a place near the will charge me 150 which is decent for a removal and an install
not bad. I remember on this mustang for removal of the stock muffler, and adding a pipe and tip, everything was around $100. so that seems reasonable

As far as gas how much gas does it take ? How often do you feel up?
Gas mileage on average is similar to what is stated online for this car (V6, 2007). Muffler delete didn’t change much, if any at all. Don’t have exact numbers for you, but from what I remember (my brother drives this now), gas mileage was what about 22-24 (combined)

Not necessarily fast or slow, somewhere in the middle, I found myself filling up once a week, but everyone is different.
Old cars get shitty gas mileage. SN95 and S197 wouldn't be much worse than any car around the same era. If you want good gas mileage, should look into more modern cars.
