How does one do this? Im new to the car community and Im going to get a 2006 Ford Mustang 4.0 V6, (im 17 so the v8 is just too out of my price range rn) Is this even something I should do on a v6?
Nah man. The V6 is good. It’s got plenty of power. I’d better on gas. Lowers your insurance. Sounds great. Has decent torque. Is extremely reliable. And most of all it’s still a mustang.
@@dustinkeane5280 I already have a x pipe with flow masters it just isn’t loud enough would it be cheeper to go to a exaust shop you think and just tell them I want the mufflers gone but to keep tips?
So no back pressure? Sounds good, but you've now lost horsepower. I bought a GT with the same setup and added Bassani Xpipe and Borla side exhaust. Gained 30+ hp on the dyno. Bettered my 1/4 mile too. Hope you rethink your set up.
It's just a daily driver so I don't care what power it makes but since I've done the exhaust and some other stuff the car runs better, has better gas mileage for sure, and I can keep up with some cars that I couldn't before I just love the sound
Don't wanna be that guy but think to yourself and ask if pushing exhaust gas back into your engine helps with performance... You want maximum flow for maximum performance Crossovers will help scavenge and pull and exhaust out the engine and mufflers can help regulate the flow of exhaust to even the pulses as well as quiet down the car Ever wonder why drag cars have just enough exhaust to keep the valves from burning up?
Love the 4.0 V6. People Hate it for no reason.
Amazing car just a little underpowered for a mustang. I love mine though. It has an x pipe on it sounds great. Might take the mufflers off now.
Just watched this on exhaust addicts lmao
Same😭
sounds phenomenal for what it is

Any cats or resonators left on?
So did you have exhaust addicts do it for you then come home and put it up on ramps? 😂
No they fixed it after it came apart on my trip to Florida he said that in his video
@@dustinkeane5280 ah ok just thought it was a coincidence seeing it on 2 channels, good looking ride though.
Can you still pass emissions in California with that bc you still have the cats?

I think so bro

Your dog barked in disapproval cause you got that V6.

You don’t loose horsepower for putting a xpipe if anything you gain it help the car breathe better!

You just lost horsepower because the side pipes are more free flowing than a full exhaust out the back
What exhaust is it?
Where can i get the same taillights?
American muscle .com
@@dustinkeane5280 thanks mate i live in Bulgaria i hope they can ship them :)
